Men don't understand how they ruin their family's by cheating and breaking up their families. Your not just cheating on your wife....your cheating your kids and leaving your ex to pick up the pieces while putting her pain and mental well-being to the side.

I believe that Martell is lying about the reason Mariah was crying when he abruptly left Melody’s office (formerly the office of Holt & Holt Enterprises, Inc.) with the kids. During the phone call to Melody right after their blowup, you could clearly hear the cries of Mariah and who sounded like Malani in the background. Martell said that he didn’t know why Mariah was crying and that he was going to bring her back to Melody at her office to comfort her. However, in his personal interview with a producer weeks (or perhaps months) later, he said that Mariah was crying because she was upset that her parents no longer owned the office together. That sounds like BS to me. I think what likely happened was that Martell was P-O’d because: (1) Melody bought out the lease to the office they once jointly occupied; (2) she had a Comeback Group meeting there; (3) she sat at the head of the table (where he once sat with her); and (4) she essentially told him to “shut up and let [her] talk” in front of their friends and while the cameras were rolling. Martell has always expected/demanded that Melody show him all the respect he feels he’s entitled despite the fact that he has repeatedly, privately and publicly disrespected and humiliated her for years. He was angry that Melody told him to shut up so he calls her a neglectful mother and storms out of the office. He grabs the kids without allowing them to tell their mother goodbye. He probably called Melody all kinds of names in front of the kids, which upset Mariah and caused her to cry. Just my opinion.

He needs to understand... He didn't got break Mel's heart.. his oldest daughter is broken too.

OWN is making sure to upload these videos so people can rewatch and maybe understand why Melody is moving the way she is. Most of the cast were straight up nasty to her after her and Martel divorced. I wouldn't want to deal with them either tbh

Martell really messed up his children, especially his son. His son will never respect him as he gets older.

So sad. So very sad, but it's extremely difficult to co-parent with a severe malignant narcissist. I hope and pray that this family heals and maybe somebody need to step away with the kids off camera. God bless them

I really hate how Martell be Lowkey tryna make Mel look like a bad or incapable mother. He knows how she is, and when her kids are at her office, she doesn't just ignore them and lock em in her office. He just dumped them in there and didn't say anything! That's triflin! And how they reacted when she came in shows that's not the norm for then while there. Also,kids can easily get into and destroy important documents or property in an office. Why wouldn't he at least mention before hand that that's where the children were!? 🙄

Looking back at the old episodes is refreshing. I’m seeing and hearing certain things missed the first time. I believe they still go to AAMU to chase young college girls. I think Marsau and Maurice playing tennis on a college campus jus noticed smh

This episode made me shed a few tears. There's a lot of hurt. Especially with the kids. The oldest daughter was having a hard time. I truly pray for them to heal and I agree, keep them off camera. Let the healing, begin without the rest of the world watching.

I missed the last episode so I didn't know Tisha n Mel made up but I gotta be honest I'm happy to see the 3 ladies actually getting along n supporting Mel. I really want to see everyone get along this isn't your typical black reality show cast I dnt like seeing any of them come outta character arguing with each other . IMO I believe they were giving hints and clues about the video Martell had of him and Mel. When Marsau said someone had a video it let's me know that Martell was showing them that Video of him and Mel.

When Martell does his confessionals, he talks like he has sense and is a level headed man but in real life, his actions and way of thinking things through is way off kilt and it's gotten worse over the years since this divorce.

I thought the idea was to build housing for Black families of the Huntsville community... as a group of movers and shakers...an idea promoted by Melody and Martell Holt to Carlos King. My question is...where are certain individuals who said they were going to move ahead without the "Comeback Group? Understandably the group is disfuntional. But Melody told the realtor Chris she was going to move forward by herself because she had other people. I can understand things change... But the viewers would like an update from her as well. It's fair. Everyone should be forthcoming. The show has shifted to cheating, divorces, rumors, fighting and gossiping. It's like a new hiphop reality show formula. Disappointing. Embarrassing to think this is how educated Black families are represented for the world to see. If anyone should leave this show it should be Martell Holt. Pitiful!
