I had Covid in 2022. I've had no energy and powerful brain fog. Today is day 5 or taking 3-7 drops a day in 20 oz of water. For the first time in 2 years and able to write Excel equations and haven't been taking afternoon naps. So much more energy! It's amazing. No negative side effects so far.
MB stains countertops, clothes, fingers, mouth. It can be removed with vit C powder and some water. I sprinkle some of the powder onto the countertop and then take a moistened tissue and wipe it several times over several minutes. BTW, adding some vit C powder to your blue water drink makes it even better. I take 40mg of MB a day. It's great stuff, worth the occasional mess. You will feel the difference whatever your age.
You should contact your local compounding pharmacy for sourcing information to find safe, pharmaceutical-grade MB. MB and other medications should only be taken as prescribed by licensed health care providers.
That sounds like a great strategy for you! We work with people who have specialized needs in terms of dosing, and only source pharmaceutical grade MB from FDA-inspected facilities. Compounding allows us to customize the dosage form to fit each patients' unique needs, for an added stain-free benefit 😊
MB and ascorbic acid, (Vitamin C) are both involved in similar reactions, knows as redox reactions in the body, the reason Vitamin C is neutralising the colour of MB is because its donating electrons, this renders the MB pretty much inactive in the body, thus you only get the beneficial effects of the Vitamin C. Take one or the other, don't mix them.

I'm so happy to hear that you have found the best option for you! Our pharmacist recommends making sure you are sourcing pure pharmaceutical grade MB. Many online products are intended for industrial use and may contain 30% or more impurities that could be harmful to your health. Please reach out to your local compounding pharmacy or health care provider for more information if you are concerned about the source of your MB.
I have been taking Methylene Blue 1% made in the US for sometime. Liquid form, started 5 drop’s first month to 10 drop the next month. When going to the high dose which is recommended 20 drops I noticed feeling not so good so I stayed at 10 drops. But it has helps with energy, my arthritis, I originally started because of memory issues that run in the family. Hope it works on that.

I use a juicer and make fresh orange juice to mix mine. No stains in my mouth or lips. I also place my cup in my sink and add my drops. It doesn’t stain anything because I have stainless steel sinks, just rinse.
I'm glad you haven't experienced the staining! Many patients need specialized, precise dosing when it comes to MB. We can compound this into capsules for an added, stain-free benefit to reduce some of the hassle.
Anything put into a juicer turns into 100% sugar in fructose which will kill you. You’re better off putting some artificial flavoring and water some safe artificial flavoring. 🤦🏼
I was diagnosed with epiditimitus in February 2023 and was prescribed an antibiotic by June it hadn’t really gone away, started MB and was gone by the end of July! Still take it as a prophylactic several times a week as I think the epiditimitus is a complication from a vasectomy I got 20 years ago.

I would start with two drops and by the second week, increase it to three drops, and so on. Do it first thing in the morning, be prepared as it can cause you to want to use the bathroom but it’s good that it does that.. I slowly increase my dosage. Currently I like taking about 4 to 5 drops not more than that at least for a month or so. No need to go overboard at your own pace.
I'm glad you and your healthcare provider have found what works for you. You are so right! Everyone has different needs, and it's important to have guidance from licensed medical professionals when searching for your ideal dose.
I use it for my skin with great results. 30 drops (1% solution) in 250 ml rosewater filled in a dark glass (Miron glass) spray bottle, applied morning and evening after a good cleanse.

Thank you for the time stamps in the drop-down box. I had stopped trying to learn about MB when I got stuck on the words "synthetic" and "dye." Now I see, like you say, MB has it's place and it sounds like it can be valuable. I bought a book on the internet that was supposed to be the "ultimate guide." Although it was well researched it was FAR from the ultimate guide. Now I'm trying to learn enough to actually use MB. Getting over "everything turns blue" is another hump! Could you possibly tell me a bit about using the powder at home? (I presume a pharmacy would need a prescription). Paul E. Marik, MD, FCCP, FCCM recommended the MB powder.

I have watched a few videos by now on MB. In one of them I think they are talking about the intravenous type. It's an emergency medicine and it isn't cheap (sterile). In that RU-vid they mentioned that it is completely clear and colorless. But when it reacts it becomes blue. And that it is a quite common lab "show" where they can turn on and off the blue color by keeping it on the edge with "buffering isn't that what it is called"? I'm not a chemist myself.
I think its worth the risk in certain situations long covid, dementia strokes even at low doses if it improves oxygen uptake and energy depression/anxiety Im not on any drugs other wise I might be concerned. Im using the liquid mixed in distilled water. three times a week and monitor the benefits and I have red light device.
I recommend discussing sourcing of Methylene Blue with a licensed healthcare professional to make sure you have a product that is safe and optimized for maximum efficacy. Many sources of Methylene Blue powder are not thoroughly inspected. We source pharmaceutical grade MB from FDA-inspected facilities.
It was suggested to be, by the integrative Dr I visited, that I look into methylene blue for my autoimmune disease. So I purchased a bottle of USP grade & neglected to ask how to take it. I heard that it will stain your teeth and gums & earlier heard that you should take it with another substance but can't remember what that was (EDTA?). So what would be the dosage & what is the actual companion supplement? Should I mix it with juice & drink it with a straw to keep it from staining teeth. I'm quite uneducated at this point so the questions may seem simple-minded

Does anyone know someone with Long Covid that like me, never took the shot ? ?
At this time, I am not aware of any established connection between vaccinations and long covid. There are some reports of Covid vaccine “injury,” but these reports are extremely rare and there has been very little science to back them up. The only thing I’ve seen with using Methylene Blue is for actual Long Covid and often times in combination with Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) and precursor amino acids for the production of Glutathione.

At this time, there is very little literature on the use of Methylene Blue (MB) in veterinary medicine. Methylene Blue (MB) has diverse clinical applications due to its hormetic properties which means the benefits and risks are related to dosing. In small doses MB exhibits positive outcomes and in high doses it is more toxic. As MB has an antimicrobial property it may in fact have a negative impact on the gut microbiome (good bacteria). This effect may not be so detrimental in the smaller doses referenced by the research discussed in this video. I would always recommend a probiotic protocol when taking MB. For my thoughts on probiotics, please review this blog post: dakotarx.com/current-thoughts-on-probiotics I hope this helps!
My Mother, used it on our chicken pox bumps. She dabbed, all four of us. We had a man selling vacuum's. He asked, what was all over our faces and we told him we had chicken pox. He ran down the porch steps!
Methylene blue has a long history of many versatile uses! Right now, we're exploring its research in small doses and specific dosage forms for new realized benefits. Exciting stuff!
Are you going to make an over the counter, cheap, ancient remedy ‘prescription’ so that pharmaceutical companies can make money and I can not get it any more without paying a doctor to give me a prescription l??!!??
When this inexpensive and accessible miracle substance goes to prescription its going to go away from the masses and become expensive. Why not just inform people about the benefits and let it stay accessible and inexpensive?
Accessibility is our goal - we are not a drug manufacturer. With medications like MB, dosing is highly individual and we believe should be tailor made to each individual, rather than mass manufactured at set dosage levels by big pharmaceutical companies. Compounding pharmacies like ours specialize in helping people access medications that meet their needs when commercially manufactured prescriptions are not a good fit or are inaccessible to them.
Thank's for watching! We only care that there is good, educational info out there so folks can be empowered to make educated decisions about their health 😊💙
This makes perfect sense, with its history as a traditional dye. This is one of the reasons it's SO important to work with your local pharmacist or health care provider to source MB for medicinal use - pharmaceutical grade is different than what's used in industry, and you want to be sure you are getting a pure and safe product!
Thank you for the comment. The purpose of this video is to review new research, at every step we advocate for people knowing their options and choosing what is right for them. So often medications are promoted or marketed without helping patients understand the research behind it.
We are working closely with clinical researchers, providers, and pharmacy researchers to learn as much as we can about it, but it has a long history of use as a medicine. We value empowering our patients and providers with knowledge about the options available to them, and we have been getting questions about new applications and dosing information! These videos are always for educational purposes, and should never be taken as medical advice.
