As an autistic mama who just went down a whole rabbit hole-I think she means "paced feeding," not "paste feeding." Hope that helps.

I'm left doing everything. I've talked to him about it all. And he just says yeah sounds stressful while I also take care of a 5 yr old who is struggling in kindergarten. I feel like I'm slowly going insane

I am so sorry mama ! You are not alone i have a 2 year old and a 3month old and i am also pumping all day . yes it does get crazy and very overwhelming is very hard not to feel overwhelming at times . At the end of the day you are doing the best you can mama , Moms are super heros we do alot and the next day do it all over again . There is a light at the end of the tunnel it does get betther ! Having 2 kids is a lot of work and requires teamwork voice your feelings with your partner and ask for help there is nothing wrong with that.

For those on the RU-vids, and not on the Facebook group, under “other” I’ll share an example. I’m a combo feeder, so, I nurse when I’m with baby, and pump while I’m working. I went part time at work for Baby 2. Husband works full time and carries the health insurance. In my book, that is, in it if itself, a way he supports me and my goals. I am the milk lady. I manage the nursing, the pumping, and milk storage. My husband does not wash pump parts, or bottles, or get diaper bags or pump bags ready. Does this mean he’s slacking? Nope. Not according to me! He is a prince among men. With baby 1, he helped me get to appointments with doctors and lactation consultants so I could learn to feed that baby. Learning to fred that baby was one of the hardest things I ever had to learn. Now, with baby 2, He does the grocery shopping - the list, the shop, the putting away. The cooking of dinners. The Clearing of the dinner table. The lunch boxes for school and work. He gets the older child up and ready for school in the morning. He drives the older child to daycare, and picks older child up. He doesn’t shirk from helping with the laundry. He helps with diapering baby. He takes care of the car maintenance, sticker, and registration. He takes care of the lawn and snow shoveling. He clears the snow off my car every time it snows without fail - which in our cold corner of the world, is its own love language. He’s dependable. He’s capable. And he looks good doing it. (And, just so you do not read all he does and think I sit on the couch eating bon bons… in addition to my 30 hour a week position and my other professional and volunteer obligations (eg, board chair work, continuing education reqs for my professional license) , I also have chores around the house. I do all the nursing and pumping and washing and sterilizing of baby stuff. I do the diaper bag, the pump bag, get baby to and from daycare. I do bath and bed time for both kids, I do little girl hair shampoing, detangling, and styling. I do most dishes, most diapers, laundry, pick up clean up general house cleaning, medical appointments, hair cuts, staying in top of the daycare and school vacation schedules. I’m the person who calls, manages and interacts with tradespeople, etc who repair or install anything at home. I do Christmas - the shopping, wrapping, planning, etc. I do the family photos. I do the baby books. I save and display the sentimental stuff. I am the parent who stays home with the sick kids most of the time and makes it up by working from home or on the weekends - unless it’s a professional obligation requiring me to attend in person, then he covers kids for me. I shop for things he asks for. I cook occasionally. I do all the night feedings and diapers for baby 2 so he can sleep.). That’s just an example of how you might be able to support your lady love, wife, or milk making partner in the “other” category. You can do this, partners and gentlemen!! :)
