Comprising of seven stand-alone episodes, each episode of Unnatural Causes explored deaths in unusual circumstances. Lost Property, which I believe is the only story of the series that features a supernatural element (despite Nigel Kneale being credited as writer in another episode of this series) This episode reunited actor John Duttine with Lame Ducks writer Peter Hammond and it was originally broadcast on ITV on the 22nd November, 1986 and it was the fifth episode in this one off series.

Thanks for another incredible upload. John Duttine is a fine actor. British TV drama of that era is usually so well crafted.

He was also really good in the BBC 1981 serialization of John Wyndham's The Day of the Triffids.

This was terribly well written and acted. It really brought the spookiness of those older, rural English schools. I attended a school like this and the rooms always seemed to hold more than those present in them.

I lived in a 120 year old school (the bungalow on a lower floor) and it was heavily haunted.

@@slydoll7877 your comment about correcting someone who had misinterpreted your comment about being terribly well written i understood ,have you noticed today that our English language is being convoluted and mingled up? what drives me nuts these days is the non stop LIKE in some peoples speak these days its like this then like like as if the person has run out of words to say /have you noticed the trend? i suppose every generation has its fads but it just drives me conkers hearing like like for some reason amidst a lot of other things going on in the world x great drama though x

I have BBC2 Playhouse and Meriel, the Ghost Girl but had trouble uploading it a while back due to BBC copyright.

@@waynejackel2921 At the risk of sounding too vague, I think that particular episode would be a threat to those people who continue to apply the morals of today to those of yester-year. I do have Haunted Poor Girl on my hard drive and do plan to upload it at some point. Thanks for the comment.
