This is pretty simple, but in some cases I'd rather use some math, like Sin or Cos equation and plug them into the alpha of a Lerp node

If you only want rotation then it it is the same, but timelines are more flexible.

Can I reuse Timeline1 at another part of the code. E.g. when Timeline1 runs, does it become an Instance copy, and thus a Timeline1_1 is still at point 0 when original Timeline1 has already started and is at point 1? The purpose is so that I dont have to copy/paste Timelines, to reduce how many are in my BP - if I can use the same Template of a Timeline that makes copies of itself if triggered by Event 1 vs Event 2 - and the Timeline instances stay independent?

Is this heavy on performance and if the object is culled I assume the timeline doesn’t start correct?

It starts only if you tell it to start, culled or not. Depending on what you do with it it could get heavy. Most of the times, it isn’t.

Question1: I see this in an Event graph. Can this work in a Control Rig construction script? Question 2: Can a curve described in the video, drive an integer value in a Dynamic Material Instance?

@@unfgames How can I connect a Control Rig controller to a blueprint actor that holds a Timeline? I would need some sort of variable out of Control Rig to pass into the blueprint actor? So when I move the Control Rig control , it will hook into the Blueprint actor to access the timeline curve. And then I can use the curve to move a UV in a texture atlas flipbook. Ultimately, I'm trying to do this: When the Control moves, it will move the UV in the UV in texture atlas. May I ask for your advice? Can I pay for your assistance?

@@hotsauce7124 did you find an answer? I havent used Control Rig yet, but if you can add a BPI (BluePrint Interface) then: Perhaps get the Control Rig to trigger a BPI Event > in the CharacterBP > which contains a Timeline. Also there's some Mat code haxing that you can do with the Time variable or World Position, which I believe can make [something in Mat code] change when CharBP moves in the world.

Do not animate coins like this, anything that moves the geometry is horrible on performance. Do this in shader graph instead.

You'd do far better to rotate objects like this with a vertex animation.
