Please be kind of adding camera recording setup in take recorder. It's so hard to figure out the way to record a camera sequence along with actor recording in live link and take recorder. No tutorial, no online manual at all. ㅠㅠ

Question: Once you have the Take Recorded how do you add it to your main Sequencer to be rendered since it is a Sequencer itself? And have you found a way to add the character audio from iC8 into UE5?

Im having a hard time with multiple cameras controlled thru switcher it is not recording the switch from cams even tho i selected editor cam in link in unreal

I have followed this step by step, but at some point it asks me for sources in the take recorder, unlike this video. When I put in my characters, I get camera movement, but not character animation. Any tips?

Hi, thanks for this tutorial. If I may ask, when I use the regular livelink and take recorder workflow, the UE5 timeline moves along with iclone to successfully record the scene in cinematics. However, when I apply the timecode sync setting, the record timeline in UE5 does not move anymore and no recording can be found in cinematics folder. Would you know what setting I am missing? Thanks.

You maybe lose some settings. Make sure your sequencer has been set to the same settings as this video.

well alot of usefull stuff here, just one werry important detail missing PHYSICS! wich is essential , so the question is. how do we get unreal to record the physics? i have tried hours and hours. if i press play i loose the camera animation , so what is the solution?

I get the hair and cloth physics to work by rendering with the dlssa plugin.

when i did all you laid out got all working until i went to play the take and there was no animation was there something i missed? and also the audio did not come in.

Same here. I followed step by step, and the only thing that plays back in the sequence is the camera motion, not the animation. Does anyone have a fix for this? Also, a step not in the video is that the take recorder asks for sources as well as the media profile.

I found a description on my below message from reallusion tech support website, saying "Camera and light animations can’t be directly imported into an Unreal Project to become an animation asset, instead, they have to be imported on Sequencers. Due to differences in workflow, the current version of LiveLink does not support camera and light motion transfer." Does this mean we have to create an animation sequence, import recorded scenes and add cameras there? If not, please let us know how to add cameras.

You can transfer the static camera or light first, and use the Take Recorder for recording their animation in Unreal. Another way, you can preview their animation via Live Link and export the FBX format, and then import it to Unreal in Sequencer "Import camera animation" manually.

How do you transfer a character that has props attached? I have tried this live link update but the props that attached to the character becomes unattached after transferred to Unreal

@@Deraeking I'm now in the exact same problem. I attached a rifle in a character's right hand and reach target the left hand to the rifle in Iclone. But in unreal, the character and the rifle is unattached after transferred, as you explained. There might be somebody who can advice on this problem, I strongly hope.

What setting causes this or can prevent this? This animation was transferred from iClone 8 using the Transfer Motion feature. The smearing happens in editor and inside Sequencer...whenever the animation is played. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JTnxuqXjxTo.html

Can you point me to a video that shows how to actually export this. having a take is great. but its useless if I can't export it out. when I bring the recorded take into sequencer it plays. but when I render the video out of sequencer. the Character is static and doesn't move.
