Three months after he was detained and interrogated by the British government, investigative journalist Kit Klarenberg of the Grayzone joined me to discuss his work exposing the myths of the Ukraine war, the CIA's connection to the 9/11 hijackers, the ties between the UK government and the British media, and the totalitarian measures taken by Western government against critics of the war.

For some African perspectives on local coups & national politics, Neutrality Studies has several fascinating discussions. No hype, looking for peace.

Istanbul peace negotiations were phase 2. Initially peace negotiations started in Belarus but one of the Ukrainian negotiators wound up dead under suspicious circumstances. Probably hit job by Ukrainian Azov associated elenents, National Socialists who were highly critical of Minsk Agreement & the Zekensky election as a peace candidate. As part of good faith toward peace, Putin withdrew troops encircling Kiev, including evacuating Bucha area occupation. A few days before alleged massacre was reported, the Mayor of Bucha happily announced that Russian troops had withdrawn, no mention of genocide. Days later as peace negotiations were in final stages, footage of bodies littering the streets emerged w claims of massacre. Bellingcat produced a series of sattelite fuzzy photos as "proof" & countless media stories were spun w plenty photo ops overwhelming media about alleged genocide. Let me remind y'all that Bellingcat looms large in Assad's alleged chrmical weapons useage & alleged Novichok non-lethal poisoning of Skripals. I have spent far too much time deep diving all 3 incidents & my gut says these are all likely false flags being used to push narratives. Just my 2 cents. I welcome intelligent pushback as I am always open to learning more about the veracity of what actually happened.

@54:00 peace deal talk starts, but before that is discussion of long lived hatred of Russia by Britain which is undoubtedly a factor in throwing monkey wrench into peace negotiations via Boris Johnson tool who was a useful idiot on his way out of #10 Downing St via Covid party scandals.

I think Kit does great reporting and I feel terrible for what they put him through (and are putting him through). Having said that, why does he think it's crazy to privatize the water supply? As opposed to having it run by soulless state functionaries, not unlike those who detained him and wanted him locked up? If a private firm gives me bad water I can go elsewhere or sue them. With the state, not so much. Coercion is wrong whether it's used to control speech or someone's property (speech requires control of property anyway). The cognitive dissonance he has is a bit puzzling.

Most normal people think the idea of privatizing the water supply is completely nuts. And no, the “coercive monopoly” water company people aren’t shutting off your water or detaining you because of your political beliefs.

@@NoLegalPlunder True, private companies are never run by soulless functionaries and if they were monopolies are never a thing because capitalists and the state are ALWAYS two separate things (dusts off hands. Problem SOLVED! /endSarcasm

@@mvonwalter6927 I agree 100%. There should be a complete separation of state and private companies. The problem is that, when the state is in charge of providing a service, we are captive consumers who have no other options.

@@NoLegalPlunder There should be a complete separation of state and private companies and there should be a ferry that brings me my tea in the morning and Zebras in my back yard. No bigger utopia than a libertarianism. If SocDems are suckers for the state, libertarianism is the sucker for feudalism. Lets move on.
