Unreleased Sons Of The Forest Items: Drone, Hololens and more... 

They are Unreleased Contents (or maybe scrapped ideas) designed by Obelisk Studio. I hope they will be added in the next patches, look fun and interesting... the drone could be very useful tho

Nightvision Would be so nice dealing with the extrem darkness, Tho thinking of it, Looking in nightvision can be pretty scary sometimes cuz of the way u see stuff, hoppe they make that out good

It's nice to see the floodlights from the caves. I always thought how nice it'd be to take one of those. My only concern is that the overhead of the inventory with the new items seem to be excluding quite a few items currently in the game and I can't see where they were moved too.

The trouble with the climbing axe is that the pc already has mountain goat level agility going up slopes. Also the high mountain needs more content to bother exploring it.

Some of these items have items slots within the game and some even have models such as the climbing axe and the rifle; rifle sounds beautiful imo. Nightvision is also an item already in the code, so it should come along sooner than later they just have to finish the modeling and scripting more than likely.

I think these should be added to the game in future updates maybe add some new mutants for balance as well as a hunting rifle and shotgun combo will start emptying the island

Drone for recon would be sick. Night vision could be cool but I’m curious about the HoloLens, I bet that is for complex blueprints but idk it’s interesting

i hope drones will be a thing in the future. it would be a nice way to see over your defensive walls in you are being attacked

Based on my previous experience with endnight and night vision, they're either going to make night vision so bad its not even usable or make it a collectible so far into the game that there really isnt a point in getting it. Just my opinion tho

I hope that the Saya (Scabbard of a Katana) for the Katana isnt scrapped but an Idea that takes them abit longer to implement. It would make it such a cool weapon aswell as balance it in a way that the Katana cant be dual wielded with other items like GPS, Lighter, Flashlight, etc. because you need to hold the Saya and maybe take longer to put back and take out of your inventory because you need to un-/sheath it first but in return its a beast of a weapon against unarmored or "fleshly Armored enemies" (enemies with Creepy Armor, Hide Armor and Leaf armor). Would also love if weapons had pro's and cons besides swings fast, deals massive damage or can block attacks with minimal damage gotten. Weapons could have attributes like if its blunt or sharp, long or short, heavy or light, easy to use and can be used by most effective or needs training and is inneffective in most users hands (could become a second attribute besides Strength which could be called weapon mastery).

I hope we get the rifle in the next update 😬 the climbing axe would be pretty cool too. I wish you could pick up the radios yourself I think Kelvin has to do it and I wish you could grab the powered lights in caves and put them in your base. Also I think they need to add a feature to cycle between snapping to objects and freely placing while building. If any of you have ever built in the forest you know that building in this game is such a headache since you can't place things pretty much anywhere you want.

Maybe also a pick axe to mine stone/metals to make stone structures or craft different iron... have pots to boil unclean water or boil certain recipes...

Would be kinda cool if later on we could find a way to use the floodlights, or even have a means to create batteries / generate electric power to charge the lights and gadgets.

Firearms holders can be find in camp and its just a prop with no use.

those models are already in the game just laying around if you know where to look, like the drone in bunker, climbing equipment at the hills - it's basically a sandbox now that they can extend as they want so the question is for ow long would those patches be released

Hololens seems to be guaranteed just watching the First trailer and one of the players already been wearing it.

i reckon it will be finished by the middle of the summer, or i hope so, sotf was the SMOOTHEST early gave i;ve ever played, i think me and my friend encountered less than 20 bugs in total and we explored every single location, collected every single item and the max quantity of it, hunted every animal, commited genocide to the canibals in the worst ways possible (cut their limbs with katana, eat them in front of them, electrocute them, throw a molotov on them and then explode them with a c4 before they die from molotov) and took both ends, all we have left is the building, but i'd rather live a nomad life using tarp and stick as a tent. we will definetly come back after the game is fully completed, and play it from scratch on the most hard settings possible, it's gonna be so awesome !

If you wanna mount NVG's you need those helmets that they wore before the heli crash...

I feel like the rifle would fit in great as it there is no real really long range weapon, and the limited ammo capacity and long time to rack the bolt would make it high risk high reward in closer distance combat.

The firearms holder can be found in-game at the camp where you find the modern axe. it's not interactable though, doesn't even have a hitbox it seems.

I actually already saw the gun holder in game today. There was nothing with it, and it was at an abandoned campsite.

How do you know where in the inventory they are pinned for. Also it looks like the inventory is due quite a bit of moving around.

Not gonna lie I'm really digging the military stuff. Guns, goggles, 3D printer and all that combined with surival in the nature makes for some really cool atmosphere.

I would love it if you guys could bring in a new tribe of canibals that we have canibal tribe that look different and behave different or soldiers who explore the island and they attack us or that we may have a option to be friends with them

I actually hope the drone makes it into the game. Not for the fact that it is a drone. But for the fact that Endnight desperately needs a detachable claw arm for the thing. I will get endless hours of enjoyment dropping c4/grenades and most important of all Molly's onto unsuspecting locals from the top of my log fortress.

They need to add more enemies to use these on, some special invisible cannibal or smth to be seen with the nvgs? A bow and arrow cannibal for the sniper? Hell what about competing teams of soldiers trying to eliminate you or collect artifacts that shouldn't be touched. These are fun but they make the game too easy

Need to make bone arrows work with compound bow and crossbow. Don’t understand why they need their own arrows

i want an assault rifle, it is much more usefull than the oder guns, sometimes we're trying to kill a lot of mutants at the same time and it's really hard, an assault rifle would get it better. could it be taken by military, once they use it all the time, for every mission they made, i really dont know why it is not in the game yet

I like the idea of holo lens as an item for extra hud elements, but I don't think I like the drone and night vision since having too much information about your surrounding will ruin the horror element of the game

I found the stun baton. Unfortunately it doesn't work.

It would be nice to add an autogyro like in Stranded Deep, could be assembled from various parts of helicopters. Do something about spawning, monsters spawn near the base and why monsters initially already know the player's location? Why don't campfires damage monsters? Do something with optimization. Guys please write this to the developers of the game!
