Wrong! Greece which is a NATO ally also bought sophisticated air defence mussels the S-300’s from Russia, so you can’t single Turkey out..

Here is some facts: 1-Turkey asked for Patriot missiles for several years and got rejected each time therefore they turn to Russians for S-400. 2-Turkey asked NATO and USA for assistance at the beginning of the Syrian conflict to avoid and control the Russian boldness in the region, the answer was no. 3-Turkey asked EU, US and NATO to consider them as main proxy-director of policies and military movements on Syria and ISIS, the answer was no. 4-Apart from middle East conflicts Turkey is waiting on EU doors for many years, despite they have a more powerful economy and developed structure then many other EU members the answer was a witch hunt and these are before anyone find Erdoğan as an Authoritarian/Islamist, the most honest answer came from Germany's Merkel who said "EU is an Christian union". 5-There were a ceasefire and peace process with P.K.K terrorist group and they broke it as they looked the Syrian and Iraqi situation as failed states which could result in Kurdistan Independence, Therefore they began terrorist operations all over Turkey for destabilizing the state, all of the attacks are documented in the news which in every single one of them the operators came from Southern borders with Iraq and Syria, and again all of them had logistic support from Y.P.G. 6-The failed coup hurt Turkey so much both humanitarian and economically, that night there were at least 260 innocent casualties which have not priority of mentioning in western medias, the Turks have a pile of evidence and open-court documents which links the Gülen Network to the coup, yet none of the Europeans or US prosecute/extradite the felons. 7-The P.K.K had been listed as terrorist organisations by US and EU, yet they are fully active in these countries and get media coverage often with a picture of their leader Abdullah Öcalan in their hands, you can search pictures of them all over the world including in Syria ,protesting while waving the P.K.K flag and Öcalan's pictures. Now you add that all of the main NATO allies of Turkey are helping them in Syria.

Vahid Aslani Vahid Aslani... this is how imperialism works. They have only their own interest there. If you sit in their frame then it’s ok. If not it is no matter who you are or NATO member or long term alliances etc... this countries are monster and they think that they are always right. See Iraq and Afghanistan how they are now. They went there in the name of democracy and what happened is that so many local people died after their invasion or control. You see that why I say that they are monster?

“Iran and it’s proxies uprooted 10 million in Syria” 24:00 I’m sorry, what? The US created a power vacuum in Iraq that was filled by a Shia majority government tied with Iran and a radical salafi group, Daesh, in the north. Worried by a possible Shia crescent from Iran through Iraq and Syria to Hezbullah in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States and the CIA started a civil war in Syria to topple the Asad Government. In this, they partnered with unsavoury groups, including Al Qaeda - those responsible for 9/11. How is Iran responsible for uprooting 10 million people in this scenario?

Thanks ClickNSpam...I might be doing the CIA disservice by saying they helped cause it. That said, Wikileaks showed the US government had been financing Syrian opposition groups since 2006. www.csmonitor.com/World/terrorism-security/2011/0418/Cables-reveal-covert-US-support-for-Syria-s-opposition And Timber Sycamore was up and running by 2013. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timber_Sycamore

Martinsson & Martinsson--You both are absolutely right! Saudi Arabia first tried to charm Assad to change sides and distance itself from Iran, when all the meetings became useless and Assad did not accept, then the CIA started the fake Arab Spring in Syria with the help of their agents.

So you think that countries are not allowed to have a foreign policy at all then? The US was wrong to liberate Europe and Kuwait because they're from a different continent? But it's ok for Iran to be meddling in a half a dozen other middle eastern countries just because they're from the middle east? What racist hogwash. Iran is a threat to the whole world and westerners want peace & stability. If Iraq/Afghanistan set up stable democracies the US troops would have left ASAP, it's not the US's fault they have failed to do so.

Actually, US didn't offer Turkey to fight ISIS together. US offered Turkey to go into Syria and Iraq, fight with his own Army, let his own children die and US will support Turkey on that. Why Turkey would do that? The right thing to do was to support & train groups in the region (proxy operations) but this group didn't have to be the PKK but US deliberately went for PKK and started a proxy war against Turkey

The US policy of supporting the PKK in Syria is based on completely false assumptions. Only Mr. Doran seems aware of the situation in this regard. In general, the US policy towards Turkey is under the influence of ethnic lobbies and the interests of these lobbies do not match the US foreign policy interests in the region. Armenia is an ally of Iran and Russia; and Greece is working with France, which is undermining NATO. These ethnic lobbies carry out an anti-Turkey activity and they try to distance the United States from Turkey at the expense of the interests of the United States in the region.

I wonder how they consider the audience dumb by their several biased allegations which are based on their illusions. Let's take a look at the history and facts on the ground, not the allegations! American and in general west, always have seen the middle east as their play ground, and destabilized the region by many horrible course of actions. Then pointed their finger to other countries in the region such Iran as the destablizer. Let's begin with Afghanistan; in eighteenth century, west regions of Afghanistan was part of Iran and the rest was ruled by Ebdali dynasty. The time that the country was in its good shape; conflicts began from the time that British manipulated the country to a buffer between their colony (India) and Russia to stabilize thei colony at the price of destabilizing Afghanistan. After WW2 and collapsing the British empire, the Red army (Soviet union), occupied the country; later, America began to support and arm Taliban as a proxy force against Russian. Then, Russian left the country after a series of wars with Taliban. Consequently, Taliban came to power. Finally in the Bush administration, the US attacked to Afghanistan to bring down a group (Taliban) which made and supported by itself. War hasn't finished yet in Afghanistan. Let's go to Pakistan; in the 50s, India and Pakistan regained their independency from the UK; but, before leaving the country, Britain drew a line between Pakistan and India and separated those two countries. Unfortunately, it didn't end up to this point. They didn't draw a clear line (maybe deliberately) on the kashmir border. As the consequence, two countries went to war three times (up to now) for Kashmir and the controversy over Kashmir continues. Let's go to Israel; Palestine became a colony of Britain after ww1; later because of the genocide against Jews by Nazi's in the Europe, British helped and supported the Jews to lunch a genocide against Palestinian, handed over the country to the jews, and created a new country in the middle east (does it make sense??). As we can see, the controversy still continues. Let's go to Iraq; American supported Saddam Hussein in Iraq to orchestrate a coup against Hassan Bakr, the president of Iraq. Hassan was killed and Saddam became the president. Saddam was encouraged and fully supported by the US to attack to Iran. The result was a war which lasted eight years. After all supports, American came to the point that Saddam is a bad guy and we should take a military action against him; and the war still continues in Iraq . Let's go to Syria; American didn't want the Syrian regime and decided to change it by any means. Based on the information from Hillary Clinton's emails and an interview from Donald Trump, American created ISIS to withdrew Bashar Assad from the power. Turkey provided the logistics and Arab states, like Saudi financed the ISIS project with the green light of America. ISIS attacked both Syrian regime and kurds (maybe because of the request of Turkey). American armed Kurds to fight against ISIS; off course they had more plans for YPG in the region as their proxy. Afterwards, Turkey attacked YPG and war still continues. There are many more horrible examples such as Yemen, Libya etc. After all of these interventions, west asks, why middle east is not stable. It's a big jock. You want to have a stable ME; its easy; just stand aside and DON'T do anything. You are the source of distablization!! The saddest part of the story is that, despite all these crimes, they still talk about human rights and accuse others for violating humanity. In the whole mankind history, the only, only country that used a nuclear bomb, is America. It was used against Japan; then, they accuse other nations to having nuclear programs. Are they really in the position to accuse other nations for they nuc programs? If nuc weapons are not good, why do YOU have it?? After all, despite all the horrible stories that the history tells us, I believe that, west is a great nation as a whole. The nation that has been in a leading position in advancing technology in at least the last three centuries, but sometimes at the price of sacrificing other nations, and that's exactly what that must be STOPPED! There are many people like the ones who attended in this program 👆. The people who systematically try to brainwash people in the west and do not let them discover the truth.

just a quick word of advice for mr john donvan, asking for applause is kinda.... unsavoury, i know its to make the editing look better but non the less a tad reminisient of stalin somewhat in its artificial/coerced nature, not that im suggesting john donvan is a stalinist, maybe just avoid that next time or get a light up sign with applause on it, but other than that great debate but would have liked each debate to be abit longer, keep up the good work.
