A-MAZ-ING!!!! I especially appreciated the opening explanation of how weight-shaming in the service of misogyny was deployed at an almost entirely all-boys school to make her feel unwelcome there as a girl without overtly stating that she was not welcome there because of her gender. Also, just wondering--is Kate Manne a vegan, by any chance? Her comment about body reflexivity also applying to non-human animals indicates to me that she might be.
