In the video he stated how he couldn't tell the difference in the rear. There's a huge difference in the rear! The cheap plastic look black goes up way farther up the rear. Also you can see more of the black on the rear from the side. I don't like the big flat black bar going across the front and the lines of the fender and the hood don't match up anymore with the new front fascia. Like it was an after thought. Love the new lighter wheels, the black flat Hyundai badging and the flat N logos. Unfortunately the USA more than likely will not get that red color. For some reason the USA gets these cars with less options as opposed to South Korea and Australia.
It may be a language barrier but this guy doesn’t seem to be very knowledgeable about the actual car itself. He’s just naming what he sees and not even calling things what they really are. He didn’t even know where the turbo was. He was even driving it with the plastic wrap on the engine. Idk maybe I’m being critical but when I watch car reviews I want to hear from a person that is a true driver of sports cars. If he does normal car reviews I can’t really take him seriously when it comes to performance cars. He’s really underselling this car.
Thanks for watching the video. 1. Yes, there is a language barrier. knowledgeable? If you had watched the video carefully, you would have noticed that this is a testing vehicle provided by Hyundai. I do not want to give any excuses, but I only had the car for a few hours to go over the interior, exterior and road test. What I can do within the given time is very limited so you will have to understand. 2. having said that this vehicle was a testing vehicle provided by Hyundai, I am not even going to mention the plastic wrap. 3. I am always welcome to all criticism because I am not professional and I know I have a lot to learn. If I worked for Hyundai and knew every little single feature, it would have been a much better review, but I did what I can and what I knew. 4. I don't know know where the turbo is? please...lol it may not have shown on the video, but please, don't assume that I do not know where the turbo is. I am not underselling anything. I am just delivering what I see and what I feel, only reviewing from a normal male point of view. If you want the true driver of sports cars, I suggest different channels. Thank you :)
The new front design is a significant change compared to pre facelift N. The highlight of this car was one of the performance per value and the biggest drawback was the front end design. With this upgrade, no one has to feel embarrassed owning one. I am waiting for the fl5 type r but very tempted to switch to EN to save over $10K even though I am waiting one for msrp. And i never saw EN with red color. Great color indeed since everyone only reviews performance blue or dark blue or white.
Thanks for watching the video. Inam a Honda fanatic myself, but EN was pretty fun. With 10k saved, I would upgrade the turbo and performance parts to smoke Type R lol Even 10 years ago, Hyundai wasn't even near to compete against Japanese cars, but now it's a different story. Test drive them both before buying one! :)
I love the fl5 but I just can’t justify nearly 60k for a fwd car sure ppl will argue it’s reliable but for that much more money it should outperform the EN by far straight line or track but it doesn’t theirs a few fbo upgraded turbo fk8’s loosing to stock turbo EN’s dct of course.
There is only a few things that I hate of this car and the red line is one of them. Yells Ricer so loud. The wing is the next I like better the N-line back better and the gap between the hood and the car is so annoying. The rest is just beauty.
Interesting explanation of the reason for the “stiff bar” in the rear. lol I always thought it was for torsional rigidity but it turns out it’s just so you don’t spin out when you hit the gas (like a Mustang)!
I don’t like this model. All the extra features are going to add weight and make it slower than the previous years. It’s a performance car. Not a luxury vehicle. We don’t need vents in the back. This car is for the driver. Not the passenger.
As far as I understand, the tranny and the chassis have improved compared to the before the FL and it gives better performance as a result. I know Americans seek for practicality, but people in Korea want to catch 2 birds with 1 stone. If the car is performance orientated then why not adding cool features? It's even better. A $30000 high performance 4 banger with updated features sounds even better to me :)
Thanks for watching the video. Thanks for the reminder but since it was the testing vehicle, I didn't want to touch anything. That's the first thing I would have done if it were my car lol
@@4drturbo85 used to look like almost a lil baby Audi mixed with a Nissan I saw the redesign in Korea Oof not one of the cars that look better in person But yea that's my personal preference
@@lukemothug You mean Australia doesn't get the N light seats? That's true. But our seats are both heated and ventilated. I think I'd prefer ventilated seats in the summer over N lights.
I think this channel is going to go far with your goofy demeanor and lack of proper knowledge on car information idk if you just don’t study before a review intentionally but I genuinely laughed at the mistakes you made but don’t take it in a negative way that’s why I watched it from start to finish I just think youre a funny guy and I think a lot of folks at some point will see that too growing your channel , good luck mate !!
Thanks for watching the video. Hmm... where should I start. #1 I accept all criticism, and u r saying what you're saying because you felt u needed to. Proper knowledge..hmm...if I had that much proper knowledge in cars and could speak as proficiently as native English speakers, I would be working for Hyundai right now. :) My aim for videos is to freely express what I see and what I feel as a daily driver who has a wife and 2 kids, not as a professional driver who values every bit of features eqch car has. I dont think people would watch my video If I explained about the how Hyundai's 2.0T engine is made and went over how the engine and transmission work. How much do u think all these car reviewers know about the cars they review? Yes, they study. They do study(read scripts and information given from the manufacturer) before the review, but what's the point of memorizing what's shown on the website, which anyone can freely access and see, and saying it in front of the camera? If that's what u r looking for, then I dont know what to say. I would rather review what I see and how I feel about the car at the time. That's just me. But because I read ur comment, it made me think twice. I really and sincerely appreciate it. I don't take it negatively at all. I know it will only help me become a better reviewer. Please, be generous enough to tell me the mistakes I made in the future so I do not make the same mistakes again. :) You have a great day!! :)
