Light burn does show you can but to be honest i haven’t need checked to see if that worked right. I’m sure it does because the air does shut off and on when the laser starts.
I haven’t had luck with clear acrylic. Would recommend a co2 laser for clear. I have used an etching spray on it to cut clear but when cleaning it off it did scuff the acrylic. It will do tinted and solid colors no problem.
Just an FYI for anyone who might get tricked by all these paid/promoted Creality videos on RU-vid... you CANNOT increase the z-height to engrave using a rotary tool. Creality shows in the promo photos that they include the chuck style rotary, and the legs, and of course neither come in the box. Additionally support does not even understand how their equipment works. Been going back and forth with them trying to explain the magnetic sensor design on the tray. Ultimately this is just a flat cut machine, and a very expensive one at that.
@@Jeffdoeswhat yeah unfortunately the only way to work around it, in theory, is to build a magnetic plate to trick the sensors. Pretty horrible design. Even if I just wanted to engrave a flat piece of material without the rotary, I still cannot increase the z height.
