Plenty of interviews with Kelly explaining the champagne decal situation in detail, he also takes full accountability for his role, bunch of haters who don't let stuff go.
@@michaeledwards7668 He didn't take "full accountability" when it really mattered, and only did so AFTER he was called out on it instead of being the first one to speak when given the opportunity. Once a shyster, always a shyster. Just like Kanzler and that russian dude with all the silverware. Why does it matter if he took accountability? He was still aware that they were all fake when selling them, so IMO he's an objectively bad person and scammer. Only sorry that he got caught.
I have a small collection. Very proud of it as I was fascinated with WW2 as a child. Thank you for talking to honest and knowledgeable people who also share my interests.
Really good video, Alex. Great respect for Kelly Hicks, and his knowledge and passion for the hobby. Truly one of the “founding fathers” of TR collecting.
Appreciate this video. Kelly is a true gentleman and an asset to the collecting community. By the way, who's the redneck in the black hat at the :12 mark? 😄
You know a certain hobby market needs significant reforms if a decent amount of the 'top dogs' are a bunch of scammers. Though I'm largely unaware of the whole problem with this guy and his illegitimate SS decaled helmets.
How much was that minty SS helmet worth???? I’ve been collecting for a little over two years and I have hundreds of items. I owns a few things that were Adolf Hitler’s some pretty impressive stuff.
