The fact that I might have cancer and won't see my child grow old has really been hitting me hard lately. Just waiting for that letter to come in has changed how I've been looking at life
Marcos… my letter did come in. It was Stage 4 cancer, and it was Bethesda VI… the most aggressive kind. I would have only had six months or so at best… But I’m still here three years later. It’s still there, but I refuse to give up. I watched too many fall, and there are too many that would hurt if I left. I can’t go yet, and neither can you. Don’t ever give up, my friend. Fight it, again and again and again. Here’s hoping your letter never even came and you’re doing wonderful in life ❤

i never really cry at funerals. I cry the day after, because thats when i start to remeber all the memories i had with them, so i normally look at pictures as me as a baby and them with me. For example, my Danya. i didnt cry at his funeral. i cried when my mum and dad told me he passed away but i didnt cry at his funeral. the day after i was looking through a load of old pictures, and saw me as a new-born baby, and him holding me, smiling. I wish i knew him actually well though. he started getting sick a few years ago and we all thought he was going to die about 3 years ago but he didnt. he kept going.

In 2017 my Mom had a stroke that left her paralyzed on the left side. She had another stroke two weeks later making her completely bedridden. My Dad refused to put her in hospice instead choosing to have palliative home care. He, myself, my sisters and brothers took care of her until she passed away. Dad was so heartbroken we could barely get him to eat or sleep. One day I stopped by after work to check on him and maybe take him out for dinner. I walked in and found him in his recliner with the family photo album open next to him. I thought he was asleep but sadly he had passed away. The pathologist said there was nothing unusual except old age. He died 55 days after my Mom passed. We all believe he died of a broken heart because my parents missed their 60th anniversary by 1 month.

I had this dream once about my bf at the time. In life, we were fighting quite a bit. Things were terrible and we couldnt stop hurting each other. I felt so sad and alone even though he was in the next room. One night i had this dream that i was the owner of this community lounge/bar/performance venue. But it was back in the days of the First World War (which i know nothing about). I was busy running the business on a very busy Saturday night. The War had come to an end in Europe (thats where i felt we were) and people were celebrating again. I was not celebrating. I put on a good front. Because what was really on my heart was my lost love. He was a pilot (think The Red Baron type). He was missing and that had been quite a while ago. No one knew what became of him. I could feel myself not really believeing it becasue it would be the end of me. Losing him was something that i couldnt quite comprehend. The piano on the stage fired up to whatever tune was playing. People started dancing. I was busing tables, stacking cups when i turned to see that the central doors behind me had opened. And here, theu the doorway came my heart. It was him. It really was him. He seemed to glow this golden, coppery glow. Like the sun in late afternoon. He was surrounded by it. His eyes met mine and they smiled. His eyes always smiled when it was a real one. Tears slowly streamed down my cheeks. He walked to me and we held each other. Or he held me. I had no strength. I felt as if i was going to quietly die in his arms. And that wouldve been ok even. Because i got to see him again. That void left in me was overflowing with peace and so many other emotions. It was as if eveything round us just paused so we could be in that moment together. I led him to a small table and we sat down, still holding hands. He was so handsome. So happy. I kust sat there with him. We didnt speak a word. We just sat there with our hands interlocked to one another. We sat and listened to the piano play and watch the people dance. We were together again. He was home and so was I. I awoke from the dream and tears poured from my eyes as i was overcome with love, true happiness and then saddness as the ether of the dreamworld wore off and i realized that ibwas indeed in our world. This cruel place where he and i were or had fallen apart. I knew that there was nothing that realky could be done to save us. As that thought sank in, a new understanding filled my mind and my soul... You see, i think that there is a balance, a true yin and yang to every situation, even every world or universe. That dream allowed me to understand at that time that he and i were meant to be who and what were were to each other. We had to be apart so that the couple i dreamt about who's love was so good and pure could thrive. They needed us to be the dark so that they could enjoy the light. And i wanted that for them. I wanted them to never let go, even if it meant that i had to. I broke that day, in a way. The last little parts of me. I truly began to mourn us that day. And all these years later, i still do. Very deeply. But somewhere out there, we are happy and at home in each other's presence. We did it. We made it....there. i miss him. I miss what couldve been and what shouldve been. I hope above all that he is happy. And healthy and i hope he dossnt think of me. Bc i know how much i do about him. And its killing me. Ahh. To be the one in that golden light with him. We all have dreams, right?

Yo hace bastante tiempo tuve dos amigos de la infancia que crecieron conmigo desde el kinder siempre me dieron su amor y su cariño lo cual aliviaba mi corazón ya que no recibía apoyo de mis papás pero el destino fue malo porque mi mejor amigo falleció en un accidente de auto y mi mejor amiga falleció de cáncer cerebral 💔😔 y procure salir adelante con ese dolor y luego conocí a la chica de mis sueños fue mi novia y la ame con todo mi corazón y mi ser y la cuide respete pero ella tenía una enfermedad intestinal lo cual tenía que pasar por muchas cirugías y cuando fue la última y no saber de ella por más de un mes y medio me estaba estresado y su mamá me llamo y me dijo que ella había fallecido lo cual fué un dolor horrible porque era alguien que amaba con todo mi corazón y se fue de mi vida 😔
I used a comment from this song to confess to a girl I had a crush on for a while, I never in a thousand years could have ever predicted that she was a Sociopath. I was so scared, blaming myself, until eventually it ended. Saw her today, talking to a close friend of mine who now hates me because he refuses to listen to what she really did to me, I got a lot of support from my other friends, including her own friends, but it was still such a crushing sight to see. I hope nobody here has to ever go through something like that, even if time does heal the wounds. It is nice to vent, so, thank you.

This remembers me of when every Saturday morning I walk around my empty primary school. I do it every Saturday. And every Saturday I go there and the school is completely empty. There's silence and peace and I feel calm but, at the same time, I feel nostalgic walking around there, bc this make me remember when I was a child and I thought only about fun and jokes. Now, in high school, I think only about study. I will never return to that moments. I just can remember them.

Antes veía esa película con mi abuela, ella era de las mejores abuelas, me regalaba de todo, me apareció con todo el amor del mundo, me defendió y me aconsejó para seguir adelante, lamentablemente, en el día de su cumpleaños fue que falleció, iba a cumplir 72 años, estuve velandola a veces en casa para ayudarla, y mi madre la tenía que velar en el hospital, y íbamos por turnos, ella hizo que mi vida tuviera sentido, sin ella me siento vacía, por eso me puse muy triste, mi familia está intentando consolarme, sin ella todo se volvió más difícil, la extraño mucho, daría lo que fuera por verla de nuevo al menos unos 5 minutos más :(

I saw a quote today that really made me realize just where me and her stand. “We will always be more than friends, but less than lovers.” It’s that middle ground that hurts the most, that state of confusion that only leads to more hurt. I want to be with her and for her to be my lover, but I just know that an end to the pain by no longer talking to her is better than having my soul wither away and never feel enough.
