I actually wouldn't be surprised if they do a Haslab Energon Omega because they can easily remold the Titan Ark for an Animated look and call it a day because they are pratically the same thing
Though Omega would most likely be a remold of the ark, I'm kinda hoping for a new mold as TFA Omega's transformation is basically the inverse of the Kingdom Ark
I’m think that CYB Chromia is probably Cyberverse Hyped for Cybertron Starscream and Vector Prime, I had both of those voyager figures as a kid so I’m eager to see these Also really hyped for the 86 Optimus
A clarification about the Omega thing. The “Omega” Haslab, isn’t necessarily Omega Supreme, when discussing the next Haslab Bmac said it would be an “Omega” level Haslab. Some people have speculated that it could be an Omega Supreme (, Omega Prime, Primus, among other things or to just describe that it’s gonna be a big deal. It could be an Omega Supreme ,but it’s just as likely that I could be something else.
they only do haslabs for things they dont think would sell at retail, and devastator is a big enough name for it to work. Hopefully im wrong because haslab devastator sounds sick.@@idynamesi0346
Didn't one of the the Hasbro designers or the team-affiliated account on... xitter or reddit or something, say that they would never do an Optimus Prime as a Haslab because Optimus always sells mass market quantities no matte the size or price point?
Glad for Gears getting some love. Probably going to end up being retooled for swerve, nice. Now can we please get ourselves a mainline CHUG Windcharger?
If they do Windcharger, I hope it'll be for the 86 line. I love his design, so I want his toy to be as accurate as possible. Plus, since he was basically a corpse in that movie, his inclusion would be the ultimate meme
My takeaway from the figures being released in 2024 is Dinoking will be the next Pulsecon exclusive, which means once again the Japanese G1 characters get the exclusive schtick. lol I actually recently looked around at my collection of Transformers G1 characters who were originally Takara Tomy exclusive characters, and all but two of the modern Legacy figures based on Japanese original Transformers have been release as exclusives. The only ones released at mass retail so far have been Leo Prime (a.k.a. Lio Convoy) and Nemesis Leo (a.k.a. Copy Convoy).
I don’t care if Tidal Wave parts form or cheats with miniparts of himself to combine with Megs, he is my boy and I will be a happy gremling once I get him. Happy Holidays and take a rest, you deserve it.
Yeah I'm still happy with him too, I just think it would have been super fun if he had a mini figure of him self. And I just took a rest with the Week of Roast A Mans.
The haslab hint was omega, which is all we got. Considering they said it’s going to be something big for the 40th, primus seems like the pick. Considering they said no version of optimus prime will ever be a haslab, it’s extremely unlikely that it’s omega prime. Also hinting omega for omega supreme feels too on the nose.
It honestly entirely depends on what they consider an Optimus. They could easily go the route of considering Omega Prime its own character like how RiD/Car Robots treats him (wherein he is formed from Optimus/Convoy and Magnus but is otherwise treated as a separate entity from either of them) and just forgo the combination entirely, giving Omega his own alt mode and the whole shebang. I think this is basically what most modern takes on the character opt for too, since outside of early in the 3H/Fun Pub days, you never actually saw Omega Prime actually separated outside of weirdly enough, the Legends comic in Japan.
I find it strange that they didn't move scorponock into the concept art sub-line, since he is based completely on concept art, it was sandstorm who was used in rotb.
Rotb, has to be the movies whose production I'm the most interested in since it's the one I think we've gotten the most behind the scenes stuff for. Cause some of those concepts arts, oh how much I've wanted to hear your thoughts on them
Couple thoughts. Scorponk: like his design, a definite maybe. Tidal Wave: he looks spectacular but I'm miffed he doesn't seem to come with Ramjet (Minicon). Magmatron: I expect some Gathering & Ascending (IDW) references in your review, Endy. Or there'll be hell to pay. Crimsonflame: love the color scheme, robot mode head sculpt is rad, hope the joints are tighter this time. Autobot & Decepticon Infantry: expect to see them army built like mad. Quake: TR version is a personal favorite so this one has alot to prove to me. Windsweeper: I expect neat freak and germaphobe jokes in your review, Endy. Or there'll be hell to pay. Again. Lifeline: southern accented cougar nurse for the one. Slipstream: better be another Animated Legacy figure. Or there'll be hell to pay. For Hasbro. Vector Prime: I'm content with the Universe repaint of the original in grandfather clock brown. TFA Motormaster: more interested in Toxitron. Sandstorm: really like the Thrillin' 30 version, so I'll probably wait to see who this new one is repainted or retooled into. TFA Omega: more interested in Lugnut Supreme. GI Joe Kup: better come with his Cy-Gar. Or there'll be, well, you understand.
Scorponk: You insane. Tidal Wave: That is sad. Magmatron: I didn't read their BW Stuff. Crimsonflame: Who is Crimsonflame? Quake: I like the TR one too, though I gave him Shufflers Head. Windsweeper: I know nothing about Windsweeper. TFA Motormaster: They just did Toxitron. Sandstorm: Doubt they can top the T30. TFA Omega: there's never been an Omega Before.
I’ve heard a rumour from a not the most unreliable source (but still take with a grain of salt) that the “Omega” Haslab is going to be Omega Prime. As in RiD 2001 Firetruck Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus that combine into the aforementioned “Omega Prime”
man i HOPE that's true we need an actually good set of rid 2001 figures considering that sideburn is probably going to suck like a head wound now if only they'd just give us a new rail racer mold already i NEEDS it
@@PerspectiveEnd some guy sent me screenshots of a conversation he had with the supposed leaker. The only reason I feel like it hold any water is also included in that same screenshot was the supposed leaker saying that the next Shattered Glass release would be a 2 pack, and that was dated in messenger a month before the Hotrod/Sideswipe 2 pack was first leaked, and long before the official reveal
I have recently purchased 2 more 86 figures: Core Ironhide and Leader Snarl. Ironhide is okay, whilst Snarl is fantastic. I will soon be getting SS86 Grimlock after Christmas. Also, you deserve a break after another year of great content. For the listings, Frenzy is going to be a repaint of the concept art Rumble, and Sideswipe will be a Gamer Edition as the others use WFC as their game subtitle.
Hey! Congrats man! Happy to hear you are loving Snarl, and that you will be getting Grimlock! And thanks but I just took a Break with the week of Roast A Mans.
@@PerspectiveEnd Sadly, now that he isn’t, it’ll have to be repurposed. Also, I imagine in my diseased mind that BM Cheetor will be like the Supreme Class toy all the way back in 1999, the one with the nutcracker mouth.
while I'm really happy to potentially be getging an animated omega supreme, I was under the impression that we would be getting a Haslab Cybertron/Primus.
@@PerspectiveEnd I mean, if it's a titan class omega supreme, it might def be one of the first projects I back up (assuming it's not some 500 bucks price point) idk, what would you like it to be ? personally I'd like for it to def be a bay verse one.
I too am eager to see the 86 Optimus. It’s most likely going to look somewhere along the lines like the MP-44 and R.E.D line G1 Optimus. Though while I hope Hasbro gives us a new mold for this figure, I also hope that his robot mode will be around the size of Kingdom/Legacy Galvatron; mainly just to help better justify the commander class as opposed to simply relying on a regular modern voyager class figure with a bunch of accessories. And Hasbro has shown us they can kind of cheat their size rules for the benefit of a figure when we got 86 Ultra Magnus (as in terms of at least the movie Ultra Magnus is shorter than than Dinobots but his 86 figure is larger than their 86 figures). For other notes, that SS Frenzy has to most likely be Bumblebee movie Frenzy. Bayverse Frenzy seems kind of impossible for a transformable core class, and we already have the 86 Frenzy (unless this is a re-release of 86 Frenzy since I’ve yet to see him or 86 Rumble at retail). And as for the G.I. Joe crossover figures… I take it you still don’t know about the G.I. Joe crossover Soundwave figure. I’d personally say it’s better than the Megatron and Bumblebee, but that’s not a high bar to jump over. The Soundwave could have definitely done with having his backpack transform more, but he does come with a blue MP Ravage that people can use as a substitute MP Howlback. Now the Kup could be interesting, he definitely fits within the vibe of G.I. Joe, but we’ll see what happens.
86 Optimus has a lot of questions that need answering. Yeah I can't believe I forgot we already had the 86 Frenzy out. I've not seen, or somehow completely forgotten about the Soundwave in GI Joe apparently.
Btw, here’s the deal with the whole “CYB” and “Cyber” thing in the leaks. The CYB is supposed to stand for Cyberverse while Cyber refers to Cybertron. So CYB Chromia is gonna be the Cyberverse incarnation of Chromia who appeared in some episodes of Cyberverse including the one with Meteorfire, an Autobot Steve Irwin homage while Cyber Hot Shot is gonna be the version of Hot Shot seen in the Cybertron cartoon as he never appeared in Cyberverse. I think out of all the leaked figures, the Cybertron and Armada figures in Legacy United are the ones I’m the most excited for - the ones I’ve bought in Legacy and Legacy Evolution were great and I can’t wait to see what these new ones will be like.
@@PerspectiveEndyeah, I most definitely am. I know the UT shows aren’t perfect, but I still find enjoyment out of them and I love so many of the character designs, and seeing so many come back in Legacy is amazing for me, especially as I’ve loved all the ones I’ve collected so far and I’m SOOOO excited for Tidal Wave. My dream UT Legacy figure though would be an Armada Demolishor as a voyager class at a similar size to last year’s Legacy Armada Starscream. Cuz then HasTak could go mad with the repaints - his cool red Powerlinx upgrade colours (which could be used for Shattered Glass as those are SG Demolishor’s colours too), his Constructicon-style Energon colour scheme and his army camo Cybertron colours.
"Omega" could refer to Omega Supreme (which could be the OG, could be Animated, could be Energon or could even be from the War for Cybertron/Fall of Cybertron video games version). Kind of seems unlikely to be the OG given that we just got as a Titan-class back in Siege. It could be a referance to the "Omega Lock" that Cybertron/Galaxy Force Primus/Cybertron came with in Energon, meaning that they're making Primus with that Omega Lock. Unlikely, but it could be a referance to Omega Prime, the Optimus Prime/Fire Convoy and Ultra Magnus/God Magnus combiner from Robots in Disguise/Car Robots. They said they wouldn't do any Optimus Primes hoiwever (or characters that are Optimus but have a different name in Japan). Lastly, "Omega" could have simply been a barrowed Marvel term, such as in "Omega Level" which just means a really, really superpowerful character (usually a mutant). Hasbro does run the Marvel Legends action figures line, after all.
I don't see it being the OG because the Siege one was already an almost perfect G1 Omega. If it's a Reference to the Omega lock then it's stupid. I think Omega Prime is more likely honestly. Omega level seems unlikely as well. That would require them to use someone else's branding.
Get well soon! Looking forward to seeing what you have in the backlog. BTW, the reason I mentioned the Yolopark fake model kit figures is because these figures feel like what the Red Line was supposed to be. Excellent representations of the characters that requires some assembly at a pretty good price.
I don’t know why but the year of the Dragon figure is super cool my eyes. Not because of the mould but because of the weapon he comes with. The freakin’ fire lance, that is the ultimate celebration of Chinese culture especially reminding people they made the first ever firearm.
Primus was teased by the guys (idk what their names are) from Hasbro and a level is just for characters who are available all year around, like they have for the Marvel stuff
I love the Tidal Wave, but I bring bad news, the legs partsform to become the big boat. Mostly due to having all the other features, like the Dark Fleet and Burning Megatron armor, and being big and heavy at his scale.
Apparently not. Most of us, myself included, didn't know he could transform without parts forming from robot to superboat. He has a waist swivel that most of us weren't aware of because it's so tight and blends in very well.
As much as I'd love to look forward to Haslab Animated Omega, given how insanely fucking expensive those things tend to be I see no point because I refuse to spend over 200 quid for these things, since that's Titan class price point. As for Slipstream she better _not_ be a Windblade retool. She's a *_seeker,_* her first appearance in any Transformers media EVER is being cloned from Starscream. If they are gonna be super lazy and use Windblade instead of any form of seeker mold then she better be such a heavy retool that you wouldn't be able to tell she uses Windblade's mold. That includes no wings with fan blades, since that isn't a Slipstream thing.
I'm sorry you're sick Perspective. But the fact that you're still making videos shows your dedication and I truly appreciate that. I hope you get better soon. If you are okay with it I'll pray for your health.
That's not possible because a Quetzalcoatlus would be almost as big as the Giganotosaurus, so one of them can't be the thing it's claimed to be. Or well I guess it's the Pterodactyl because if the Giganotosaurus was a Trex it would look just as incorrect.
3:31 more unhinged Perspective End please. Also I am a huge dinosaur guy and Magmatron turns into a Giganotosaurus and a Quetzalcoatlus. Not a T-rex and Pterodactyl.
I really don't understand how they took the "Year of the Dragon" concept and didn't immediately think either BW Megatron or RID2001 Megatron.... As for the Haslab, It seems pretty apparent it's gonna be Primus to me. In Cybertron, the "Omega Lock" was the macguffin of the show and given that after Unicron, we immediately got Star Saber and his nemesis, it somewhat makes sense that they do a Primus to be the opposite to Unicron. Also, apparently they teased Primus with a Cybertron Primus in the background of a recent post. Frenzy already has a SS86 figure.
BW Megatron would have made more sense yes. I really want to fight you on that, because it being a reference to the Omega Lock is so Obtuse. He does? When did Frenzy get that?
@@PerspectiveEnd At least a bit ago. Toyhax already has the labels up for order (although that is almost certainly due to it being the exact same mold as Rumble) and while he's sold out on Hasbro Pulse, he was available there. I've seen a few reviews and they are basically just one long "FiR-RiB" joke.
Nice to see Gears get attention. Now I need an 86 Windcharger. I'm looking forward to 86 Optimus. I never got the Earthrise one, so hopefully this will look as good as 86 Ultra Magnus. Really excited for Dinoking. I think he'll be neat. Tidal Wave looks great, but he does look quite gappy. I tried looking at the toy to see if it was accurate, but the original toy was less gappy. A weird downgrade. Still excited for him though. I do want the energon/super link version to come with his alternate head, where his face was misinterpreted as a faceplate. I just think it looked cooler. Plus, he was a better character in that show. Here's hoping we get an energon/super link Shock Fleet next. A man can dream though, a man can dream.
@@PerspectiveEnd Shock fleet is basically Tidal Waves new form in energon/super link. His upgraded form. He's called Mirage in the dub, but I prefer his sub name as the dub name makes no sense for him
CYB chromia is most likely the cyberverse version, as i am pretty sure windblade had the same prefix I have a personal theory that the G1 optimus listing might be crocimus prime from that one episode from G1, would be a perfect pretool for a new skullcruncher Quake is a double targetmaster, so hes not going to be a headmaster, so he will most likely come with 2 shitty targetmaster things A-level is apparently a new pricepoint, a imbetween for core and deluxe classes... Omega is not omega suprime, its a codename for somthing else... buzzworthy bumblebee is no more, and target exclusives wont be getting a exclusive packaging anymore Theres also a new target optimus prime toy that comes with the target dog, i think it might be another VNR repaint, as target uses VNR trucks Also theres a 86 blaster coming out that will have no clear plastic
Glad to see you back! I hope the GI Joe cup cross over is the cup from the 86 movie concept art that they just did a presentation of it to TFinaition 6 months ago,..ish... Big bulky torso with tank treads rolling around his shoulders... That would rock
I don’t think the Has lab would be animated considering they would want to have some thing that would appeal to all 40 years of fans but I could be wrong. I just feel like it would be odd to have something that niche during the 40th.
@@PerspectiveEnd protoman over at TF Slag Podcast has been hinting that he knows what it is due to his workings with Hasbro and that it will be something that is catering to the anniversary. With this Leak List having the word Omega, I kinda wonder if it could be planet Cybertron with some sort of omega lock or something of that nature
Comment 2: SS Voyager BB Shockwave was officially revealed, and both ROTB figures this year (even though I'm still hyped for them) have been put to shame by a Bumblebee figure again. Other than the eye colour, I think he looks perfect, and the ability to mistransform the cannon to make it bulkier is a plus to an already fantastic figure.
Chromia never appeared in Cybertron (although the Japanese name of Cybertron Thunderblast is Chromia), but she did show up in Cyberverse. So maybe Cyb is Cyberverse and Cyber is Cybertron.
There is a Cybertron toy for her even if it didn't show up in the show. Though yeah Cyberverse is more logical though why wasn't it called Cybv or something?
Studio Series BBM Shockwave leaks one day later. That curse heh? I was gonna ask where is your opinion on the space wheeljack, but then I found that you made a News-A-Mans for him, but then also realized there is also a tidalwave News-A-Mans and now I am back to being confused why wheeljack was left out.
ss scorponok I honestly could not care less for, evident when I was surprised it’s deluxe and not core as I thought it was from stock images. Also personally I’m not too big on ss86 commander optimus when I feel it’s just gonna be like the kingdom rodimus situation
“A Level” is Hasbro’s listing for figures of main characters. It’s spread across Star Wars: The Black Series and Marvel Legends… perhaps because retailers are tired of 3/4ths of a wave of figures not selling because nobody cares about Crosscut, the Eternals or Vice Admiral Holdo. Ergo, I predict that TF One Optimus and 86 Bumblebee are going to be Studio Series, but from Hasbro’s perspective, they’re A-level.
Cyberverse Chromia, to go with the Legacy United Cyberverse Windblade, of course. Better than Siege´s miss backpack. And, I guess by Movie 8 Megatron they mean TF One Megs. And, that Haslab Omega might be a gamer edition...
With omega i have 5 versions how it can be. First two are a retooling of ark (if they do animated version of omega) or siege omega( if they will do gamer edition omega). Second two are brand new molds if they do animated or wfc gamer edition omega. The last is just a repainting of siege omega supreme as shattered glass omega doom. That what i see. And with tatol wave i see two adders recolors (the toy/game colors and energon colors).
I don't see them doing a retool. Haslab doesn't do retools. A gamer edition Omega would be an odd choice considering how desired the Animated version is.
The "CYB" could be just Cyberverse. Animated Omega Supreme as a HasLab, though!? Why...this should've just been a retool of Kingdom Ark (since Animated Omega Supreme is also the Ark). And with rumors of Legacy United Animated Motormaster being in the works (retool of Animated Optimus, just like the original)...WHY did they not think to do Jazz, Arcee, Lockdown, & Hot Rod so we could get'em repainted and slightly retooled into Deadend, Dragstrip, Wildrider, & Breakdown? Not to mention get another Animated Hot Rod repaint as Animated Sideswipe who oddly ran in G2 colors? (And with the return of Generations Selects, how about Shattered Glass Animated stuff? The repaint potential is nuts...)
Then why wouldn't they add the Verse to it? And it's a Haslab so they can go extra hard on it probably, also to justify it at all. Probably the Execs were saying it wasn't going to happen. I mean they might do them later, but they probably haven't done them yet, just because they are waiting to see how the Animated stuff sells over all to justify more.
I believe the chromia will be based on her cyberverse design so........ Dear God I hope it's not a retool of the legacy arcee Also L can't make a teeny tidal wave
No G1 Hot Rod... I think I might actually be able to finally retire from current-year figure collecting and start saving up for my grails (some out-of print vintage figures).
I’ll tell you what I know, Chromia is Cyberverse, the Leader Soundwave is apparently just a repack of Netflix, Next-Gen Bee is supposed to be Reactivate, and more than likely the next Haslab is Primus (Omega teasing the Omega-lock). There’s some good, some bad, and some Starseekers who I desperately need now. Honestly kinda glad next year doesn’t seem to have many figures I actually want so I can focus on that Starseekers line.
Strange they didn't bother including the verse. or like a V or soemthing. No Bullshit, I reject your Soundwave News. But they are already putting the Reactivate one in the twopack with Starscream. It being an Omegalock tease would be a weird way to do that.
I’m sorry to tell you but the Soundwave news comes from JTPrime, it’s some GE Bee for Reactivate idk why, also one thing I forgot to mention is A-Level is supposed to be some size between Deluxe and Voyager used as a way for the team to keep the popular characters on shelves and affordable, Marvel Legends did this recently with repacks of a MCU Iron Man and Iron-Spider.
I hope the Haslab isn’t Animated Omega. I’m hoping for a regular release so they can retool it for the evil lugnut/starscream clones. A core class animated Sari is also desperately needed, with her battle mask and jet pack look, kinda like the Noah Diaz core.
The scorponok just looks so wonky especially the hands like most if not all scorponoks have the pincher hands this has stiff claw things. Tidal wave the mini parts not making a mini tidal wave is a bummer hopefully DNA designs has something in the works but still really titan if they do repaint I might grab the repaint too The leaked stuff is a mix of meh to very interesting, more core cassettes always cool, gamer stuff is meh due to how wonky the rest have been, unicron trilogy stuff alright could be cool, G1 updates again cool to see, movie stuff shockwave very interesting Also the haslab omega hopefully it’s more animated like. It is the 40th anniversary but we have a good omega and a repaint of it so doing it again but as a haslab might not sell well but an animated one if that would get a lot of attention
Some of the gamer stuff has been good, but I've not made a video on them yet. I assume that Haslab Omega will be full on animated, otherwise there's not much of a reason to do it since the siege one was already so Faithful.
i hate to say it but.... Haslab Omega seems to be related to the "Omega Lock" If it does...... we're getting a Primus but only for those brave collectors who want to spend on a Planetformer just like what they did on Haslab's Unicron.
@@PerspectiveEnd That's true, they were similar in size. I guess it's my personal thing and for whatever reason i always expect for Grimlock to be bigger than everybody and Swoop to be smaller.
