Thank you! 🥰 I actually wouldn't recommend using acrylic paint though unless you keep it inside. Actually.... If you paint it at all, I wouldn't recommend leaving it outside. But the red paint also has scratched up our walls pretty good. 😬🫣 So I bet the white bumpers helped with that. 😅

So even though this is beautiful and such a wonderful idea which led to me buying a thrifted one and deciding to do it up for my little ones Christmas gift this is all I have to say. I’m British so keep that in mind. I’m a single mum and a very unreliable family support network due to being raised in the foster system so I don’t have any family support really. From those I could get support from they work in full time employment. I myself don’t work as I am only 23 and I’m a student. Basically I struggle with money and childcare. I thought this would be a good idea after watching this video thinking it wouldn’t cost me too much. It did not cost less than £25. Obviously take into account I’m British. To get all the decorative stuff from Amazon, like the lights and the mirrors and the chrome tape it’s less than £25. Actually for the thrifted car itself it cost £10 then with the 2 white primers and the 2 spray paints in whatever colour you want I chose pink as well it comes to about £80. That’s including the fancy stuff like the volkswagon sign and the lights and the mirrors etc etc. basically you’re looking at making this for about 100 if you’re also wanting to add your own stickers and personalised touches. To me that’s not inexpensive when I’m only living off of 500 a month. Just a warning for any of those struggling like I am.
@@MelElliott-q4d Everything is so expensive these days! The reason it was inexpensive for me is that we already had all the paint, I think I only had to buy one can and I didn't even use primer... Not to mention, this was pre-covid. We were also able to find another free car on FBM that I fixed up a little and was able to sell for $20 or something (not a bad idea to keep an eye out for free things you can flip free and quick and then sell).
