update: AFTER WEARING NIKE 270 REACT FOR 2 MONTHS! (Pros & Cons) 

I've been walking around in them for almost a month eight hours a day and I can say for sure that I love the feel of them

2 months but i bet you didint wear these more than 5-10 times. Soles are like new...

This shoe is in my regular rotation for sure I just love the look at least for now

Wearing them as we speak. It’s my go to work shoe. Gives me just enough comfort that I need. I like the stable back heel and the comfy forefoot. It is a weird transition from back to front but I’ve gotten use to it. Definitely agree with the 6/10

When the adapt huarache comes out I would like to see how the lacing system/motor holds up to the life test especially in wetter conditions.

This rereview is spot on, its almost like its a wedge, it makes my foot push forward to the toe box. Its like the air unit is too hard and the react is too soft!

It probably needs a carbon fibre plate to link the two cushioning systems and remove the sharp transition between them.

You are right, I was testing it for the first time yesterday. Felt so disconnected. Air comfort is good but walking around seems so weird which you pointed out all the flaws. Awesome video

I felt that same initial choppiness, but I wear an insert for extra comfort & support & that made the transition much smoother. This is my favorite new sneaker to wear at work! Hope that helps anyone who has that issue!

I got these day of release bc I love how they look, really like em but the tongue is hella stained by the blue liner inside which just looks wrong, and it's kinda hard to clean - mixed feelings on them for $150!

Let me tell you this review is so spot on. I bought a pair, as I fell in love with the shape and style of this sneaker. I kind of regret it now having bought them. They feel really high, the sole is ridiculously slippery, it gets easily stained and it's difficult to clean them up. They're not quite comfy for walking because the back end makes your feet bounce. Plus I never know how to style them!

I really love this sneaker, I've worn my pair heavily since I bought them, and I really can't disagree with any of the points made about it, but regardless I love them. Really liked the life test!

I've had mine for a bit, I rotate between my Jordan 720 which are snug. I find them super comfy and light. I'm a heavier person and I've heard people say that if you are regular built it's not enough weight to compress the air unit.

I need these for my collection. These are the best looking 270 air max to me and these are cheap in price at the right spot. Your right about the walking and standing aspect. It almost feels like it forces you to move forward and like your walking down hill.

That's so true! 3 months ago, I bought the exact same shoes and they were really uncomfortable. Similar to other shoes I thought that the shoes would be uncomfy only at the beginning but this one wasn't. It felt like I was wearing heels and my whole foot was pushed to the front. At first I thought maybe it was because of the size I bought so I exchanged it for a half size smaller but there was no difference. Because of this I would give it a 4/10 or 5 max, this for the design and overall look. They're very good-looking shoes just not comfortable. I'm also a Nike Member so I was able to return it after 3 months, and for that I'm grateful to Nike.

These are fire. I think the thing to remember is these shoes aren’t that comfortable for talker/ bigger people, especially those with wide feet.

I love the shoe andvits super comfy. But i agree with the transition issue for sure!

These do look good. Was expecting it to be much more comfier than the 270’s since it has react paired with it, but it wasn’t so.

I absolutely agree. The heel feels intrusive when I step like it hits the ground too early. The rear sole feels too high compared to the front sole. I definitely love my Pegasus 37s way more. I got these 270 Reacts on deep sale for under $50 so I'll deal with it. But going from my Pegasus 37s to these 270 Reacts was a noticeable downgrade in comfort.

These are nice I have this pair I've worn em twice they're ok but imo these are not touchin the original 270s I feel Nike should've did full-length zoom react instead of the 270 air max unit an that would've been more of a hit✌🏿

I guess Im one of the outliers lol. I think theyre COZY BOYS. Now theyre not the most comfortable, bc I think theres too much cushion and I felt unstable walking in them at first but for a going to the courts shoe, theyre awesome

I completely agree with this review. Gave this shoe a chance to maybe kinda adjust but really it doesnt feel good on foot, the react at the forefoot is soft typical react, the airmax at the back is just hard so yeah when you walk it feels your forefoot is on a clay while your heel is on a brick. It looks good though

picked up the 270 black/grey ones this sneaker is so comfy and i can wear it with my casual baddass normal sniper style!!!!

Agree what you said about walking on 2 different shoes. Also felt that they put me on my toes...I did go up 1/2 a size and that seemed to solve both issues. It’s become one of my go to sneakers

I enjoy mine but find them a little hard to wear. The loop holding my laces in broke right away and the react wasnt very flexible

My favorite shoe! I work 13 hour days walk 5-6 miles during my work day and these are more comfortable than my hokas! I couldn’t make it through a busy nursing shift without them!

I have the same bauhaus ones and in my opinion they are SUPER comfortable like seriously i don’t understand what people say about the “transition” for me they came comfortable and perfect fitting

I agree, they are not as comfortable as I had hoped they would be. You guys gotta try the N110 D/MS/X!!!! They are HELLA comfortable. I didn't do the month, but I wore them everyday for two weeks on a trip to Europe and they are amazing. They held up really well and they are comfy boy certified. I am a bigger dude and they did me right.

I didn't like them at first but now I use them for running I feel like their really worth the original price tag. They had to be broken in to feel the real comfort when running on roads.

I have them, and love most for the colorway. I do not think they are uncomfortable or strange to wear, the only con for me is they do not hug the ankle at all. If anything, the collar around your ankle is loose and sloppy, that was the only oddity for me on these. Liking the bright green ones that just dropped as well

My pair are wonderful, but I fear they’ll be forgotten about for other things, but I suppose I just had to own the Bauhaus colourway, and I dropped some beer on mine too.

my presto react and ub are more comfy than this, the middle of my feet felt some fatigue after 6 hrs, its the part where the transition from the bubble to the react. it will still be in the rotation since i dont have plenty of shoes anyway

So I have these and you are absolutely correct with these. I love the look and when I originally wore them i loved them but when i had them on for a long period of time they are not nowhere near as comfy as the 270s. I was a little disappointed in this shoe because i really like the look. Oh well you cant win them all. Can you please review the 720 wear test. I have a couple pair of those and i was quite surprised with the comfortability. I want to know your opinion.

I agree 100%. Bought these Day1 thru SNKR app. I just really like the Bauhaus color. People love the look. But the comfort is bad. I walk more on the ball of my feet than the heel. The 270 air unit is too stiff. I have to intentionally walk a different way to feel I'm using the entire sole. I still wear them once a week but I won't be buying another colorway no matter how dope it looks.

Looks great, but it is like walking down a steep slope - major design fail.

They should of put the react throughout the entire outsole. It would look better and feel better

I have these & the 720’s & the react 55’s. I get what he’s saying. The 720s or the react 55’s are more comfy because it’s not combining two materials but they’re aren’t uncomfortable.

Youre so right. They feel weird. The air 270 is too chunky/big for it and it takes too long to break in. I got a pair like 3 months ago and still fighting the weird feeling when I walk. They look sick and people give me compliments almost everytime I wear them. I love the react, so I just ordered a pair of react elements 55.

I dont agree i have great comfort with these. putting them next to my ultra boost in rotation for comfort and lifestyle. And i went a half size up just like the ultra boost. They get a 8/10 from me. What Nike shoe is better comfort and esthetically?

Just bought these for my husband and I agree with everything you said. Thankfully I got them for only 75. The quality is subpar. I don't like the cloth material at all. It's so thin, it's not even a mesh. The bottom is clunky and the top feels like a thin shirt. The material has almost feels like felt/iron on patches. These shoes are designed only for looks. Don't get them wet either. I bought them so they can match his jersey and hat I got him.

I actually love the feel. Better than the 270 not as good as the presto react

I bought the black and white model and used it for school. Its abit on the heavy side but i personaly think its good

I ended up not getting these due to how wide they felt

The bottom always looked to me as if they took two different cars chopped them in half and welded them together

The 270 platform has a plastic in the middle of the sole, whatever is going to be merged, react or force 270 its going to stiff.

I own a black/volt laser crimson pair and they are fire and pretty good in my opinion in the gym or just walking around

Bought these from Nike when they dropped, because I loved the way the color blocking setup on this cw, tried them just around the house for a week and returned them. The heel to toe is too jarring. Too much of a drop, and the 270 bubble is too hard compared to the react in the rest of the sole. Like Foamie says, it’s like the sole of 2 different shoes, and ends up like Frankenstein’s monster

Nice vid, MrFoamer, and one I was waiting for. I don't own a pair, but tried them on the store and felt just like you said: it's like there were 2 pairs fused and transition was pretty much annoying: not a pair I would use to be all the day out. I'd rather choose other pairs for that porpouse such as my Element 55, the Epic React FK 2 (black/crimson, ultra dope colorway), the Ozweego or the PureBoost Go, all of them going for a similar price point (or even much lower) to those 270React and far, far more comfy for "all day wearing" IMHO. SUPERB update to your previous review, I appreciate the honesty. Cheers from Spain!
