People are always mad at the wrong person. If they were mad at the right person, they would have to be mad at themselves. That doesn't compute for many people today.

She feels entitled to do whatever she wants. Nobody has ever held her accountable.

I have always given anybody who talks or texts in the gym, a disapproving look. The gym I go to, many do that and that peer pressure seems to keep it in check

Yep. It is because we have effectively eliminated shame from our current society. You used to make mistakes, be admonished and shamed for your actions and get better. Mistakes are the only way we can learn (either through someone else's or our own). Instead we now tribalize everything and just sit in echo chambers to buttress whatever thoughts or actions we feel/are doing. Sad really.

I can see her getting banned from all the gyms in the area as most gyms are either a chain of gyms or they notify the other gym owners of the banned persons behaviour towards the other gym users .

the chances that they get banned because of their actions is low. its literally because a prominent figure told the head office or whatever. if it were a regular person they wouldnt get banned.

Why would a gym ban someone who is minding their own business and working out according to the rules? @@benygames7399you do realize that the actions they are taking are against most gym policies, right? So, if someone brings a complaint forward, they will check it out and then ban the person for violating ToS.

@@benygames7399 I think it is more that these things go unnoticed by these companies until someone brings it to their attention. Once brought to their attention they probably face legal action if they don't do something in certain situations, such as filming in locker rooms.

Doubling down on backing the people that got banned from gyms is WILD. Like she advocates for their poor behavior that hurts other people. Also it feels like she doesnt wanna go down this path cause of her eye movement

It's because she is a narcissist, she is clinically unable to take responsibility for her behavior, it is a mental illness. She is a danger to those who she interacts with in this manner. The only effective answer to her is to ban her from places where she displays these types of behavior, that means calling it out repeatedly and reporting her and people like her. She wont change, but society will slowly re-adjust back to standards of decency and ethical behavior over time. You are unable to reason with narcissists, but you can address the root cause of how people become like that.

We call those people women.

Surprisingly, the kind of people narcistic enough to do this stuff in the gym are the kind of people who never accept responsibility.

This lady doesn’t have a clue what she is talking about, there are cases of sexual harassment in gym. There are cases of discriminatory behavior against disabled person in gym, it’s important to stop the bullies in the gym to create safe space haven for everyone to fit in.

Here is the worst part about women like her. When I first started reading your comment, I was thinking, " were you really horrassed, or were you just oversensitive?" All of the false allegations in the past decade plus have made everyone over skeptical. Making it even harder to get real reports investigated. SA is already hard enough to prove without the massive amounts of false allegations for clout that have muddied the waters.
