thanks very much for the series. here is the tip. to double click on the buttons increase the height and width of the buttons in properties. and then double click on them. without doing this it is difficult

Response.Write....alert box doesn't work if I put Response.Redirect to the same page. Doesn't matter if I put alert before/after the redirect. If I don't use redirect, alert box works but page refresh causes duplicate entries. Clearform doesn't work in that case either
