Update FluxNode Collateral

Guys and Goose @FluxLabs. I absolutely understand that we need technical skills to setup the nodes. I do not have any issues configuring mine BUT why is the node configuration for the actual tiers (not talking about Titan) have to be SO DIFFICULT to setup for regular crypto enthusiasts with a lot of Flux and option to setup a powerful computer to run the nodes? Why not a regular Windows or Linux installer with a simple wizard to enter your wallet, collateral, run the benchmarks and done? Why you guys have to make it so complicated? Are you trying to filter investors and possible node owners?

I cannot thank you enough! Although I feel that I am a bit familiar with the technology, this was beyond my scale. Your in-depth descriptions allowed me to take advantage of the knowledge to help finalize....finally! Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge and you are the type of people that have me backing the $FLUX project for the long haul!

I would love to run a Cumulus node from home. My hardware destroys the specs but my internet upload speed is the real fly in the ointment for me.

Great video!! Thank you!! 1st time operator. Got my Flux in ZelCore and VPS rented. Setting up is terrifying and feeling overwhelmed! 53yo truck driver with little/no tech knowledge kind-of-stupid. Can this be set up via smartphone or is a laptop required? Can I hired someone to set up my node for me? I would love to pay someone to teach me as I intend to invest in more nodes! Video idea: "1st time node setup using a smartphone!" 😂

What would be the advantages of holding parallel assets vs. bringing them in and starting a node?

so I waited forever for the block height, then I click start and waited for hours, it then went to DOS for hours so I went to bed then it was offline when I get up. I then start again waited for hours, I assumed that it goes into the GET START LIST, but since it would be hours before I get out of DOS jail, I get to the computer later and it's offline again. I have been at this since yesterday the 13th early afternoon. What about people with windows, not Linux.

When I try to add my FluxNode to Zelcore, I get an error message: It was not found any FluxNode with the IP provided on the network. I entered the ip address correctly. Please help me! Thank you.

Why does VPS cost on dashboard says $7 and all of VPS you have selected as a recommended options go from 11 eur and up? That s more then double.

i am not being allowed to use wget while in my docker profile. it says it is installed when i run the install wget command, but cant be used to install zsnark params. SOMEONE PLS HAAAALP! disord wont answer me

How much profti can be made on tbe 1000 flux node, is it 90% less than the 10k flux node?

Say I have 7000 Flux. Do I need 7 different VPS accounts (with their corresponding subscriptions linked to each) to run 7 Flux nodes?

hi i have a problem i dont have the "locked in flux node" information in my wallet but i see my collateral in the fullnode mode so if i delete my node directly in the fullnode mode my collateral back to my wallet ?

what happen to the collateral after the node expire?

They are are freezing assets. If you delete the node and it comes back they froze it. They are the next big one to fail

HELP! 3 questions: 1. Is the Contabo Cloud VPS M the best VPS for the New Cumulus setup? 2. How do I setup multiple wallets on Zelcore to hold each amount of 1,000 Flux required if I am setting up 8 nodes? I need to create more wallets but don't know how? 3. Hi all, Perhaps i will find a solution here. My flux node was running without any problem but it started to stop and go on DOS mode. I tried to update it but, impossible to recover the password on putty (Strange because i was convinced it was the good one). As i m not really patient and i didn't find a solution, i decided to suppress my node from zelcore and to create a new one with Putty. When i try to install the fluxnode, i m stucked to the flux deamon syncing, with only fails... If some one could help me, he will have my eternal recognition ! :o)

1) You state and repeat how important it is that your server meet new minimum requirements - but don't show those at any time or tell us where to find them. Please leave a link to minimum requirements. 2) What happens to those of us who already have 10k staked? Do I now have to set up 10 different new nodes??? 3) How does the above apply to those of us who are using a VPS? Can I run all ten of the new nodes on the VPS that has been running a single node just fine?? 4) I too also find the need for Linux control through Putty to be cumbersome. It seems like someone could write simple scripts for the commands required. Flux is a great concept, and I am in and onboard. But with all the hoops and programming and tweaking required to get in and setup I cannot recommend it for anyone who is not a geeky geek and active investor. By lowering the staking requirements the team is doing great on making it more affordable, but the technical requirements to get in are a huge barrier (IMHO)
