Update: Illini basketball player Terrence Shannon Jr. returns to the court against Rutgers  

According to our sister station KSDK, Terrence Shannon Jr. was previously suspended amidst allegations of rape. Shannon later filed an appeal to his suspension, which a judge granted, however, Shannon's case is ongoing.
