Thanks Paul! Interesting to hear that, I thought sheep would be a lot harder work than cows but I suppose you've got it worked out with your work time off and it works well for you. I dont like sounding negative on the suck cow topic but say you lose a calve or 2 or lose a cow with grass tetany. The time you pay the vet bill and all too there's not much left. Seeing the calves grow up is the good part aye 👍🏻 I'm thinking of going back to buying in drop calves as I found that less time consuming and don't have to get up in the middle of night to run about with a calving jack. @@JohnSAgri one of the deciding factors for keeping the few sheep instead of the cows was benchmarking because I am renting land the cows before SFP were losing money while even with renting land the sheep were still making a few pounds I sometimes rear a few calves too they are handier than the sheep or cows

@@paulthompson8467 You're wise to have it all worked out. If you're going to be busy you might aswell make a pound or 2 at it. It's like everything, good days and bad days 👍🏻 I'll see what happens over the next few months. Watch this space haha 👍🏻
