New to the channel (-: Saw your bbq video on my home page and thought I’d click on your profile. I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been going through a hard time after losing your Grandfather. If it brings you any comfort, I’ve also been going through a lot as my mother’s health has been declining (I’m 22, and my mom is 53). It’s been really difficult to cope with and it’s made it a lot harder to deal with college and socializing with friends too. Things are starting to look up with the help of family, friends and my therapist🙂 (I highly recommend therapy btw!! I think everybody regardless of how happy or sad they are can benefit from therapy). Anyway, I just wanted to share so maybe you felt less alone. I feel less alone hearing you tell your story and struggles. I’m now subbed! Best wishes to you!!!💓

Your subscribers really just want you to be happy :) I'm sorry for your loss of your grandfather, you seemed so close to him that it must have been really difficult. I lost my dad nearly 6 years ago, then my grandfather the following year and sometimes I find myself still in disbelief. I also had some family drama after all that, and it was so hard. Do know that things do slowly get better with time or maybe we learn to just cope better as we get older? Either way, thank you for uploading this video, and I applaud your courage in attempting to get out of your comfort zone. You inspire me to do the same. Rooting for you! Virtual hug! :)
My grandma passed away from Alzheimer’s in November 2012 😞 it is extremely hard and I too felt like she was away.. or still at the nursing home. But it does get better over time you just have to let yourself heal and not rush it. So I’m glad you took time off to do that. I’m glad you’re back and doing better! ❤️

Finally am watching the video! I am loving it! I didn't know how much I missed your videos. I'm so proud of you, though! You went through so much. Just wanted to let you know that I can 100% relate to how you said you feel with staying inside all the time and only seeing your friends a few times a year. And how you have been making more of an effort to see them. Despite the intense desire to cancel the plans, you push yourself to go see them. I've been trying to do that too. I've only been successful with it probably three out of around 6 or 7 times but I suppose that's still a success compared to the 0 times before. Just wanted to let you know you're not alone in feeling that way. And it's nice to know I'm not either. (:

Im so glad you're back! I am sorry to hear about your grandfather. I don't think that feeling of your loved one "being on vacation" will ever go away. I feel the same way for my uncles who have passed away. Some days I think I can just pick up the phone and call them and then remember they're no longer here. Like you said, I feel like they're off on a very long vacation and that we will see each other again someday.
To be honest, I never followed your IG account until today. For a long time, I missed seeing you here. I didn't see you posting videos anymore, and I had bad thought (let's not go there now.) First I wanna say that I’m sorry for your loss. I can relate to a lot of what you said about grief and denial, I’m with you and I’m sorry. Second, I can see why maybe you don’t click with people. You are so special and raw and authentic. It’s rare. The way you carry yourself is real and deep and I love that about you. I always hope that those of us who want love find it but what I hope for you is that you find someone who can match that energy in you. Because who you are is worthy of the right person. You deserve the world.

Last year (2018) was really fkd for me too. Lost my whole neighborhood/houses/town of Paradise due to the Fires. Everyday is a reminder when I drive around, it’s really depressing. I had surgery to remove my thyroid which was growing Into my chest AND my Halmeoni passed away in Dec which was like the cherry on top of the cake....I’m still in denial about her being gone. 💔 Just know that we can bring them back in our dreams. I often dream of her as if she is still here. Your grandpa knows how much you love him and we will see them when it is our time too, they are waiting for us. Your lovely with a great personality please don’t be so hard on yourself. When your ready to do videos again just know we will all be here supporting you. RU-vid is a wonderful outlet for therapy, kind of like a “Dear Diary” session. We will all contribute with feedback to help you. I can really see your struggling with your emotions, is there any counseling that you can do as well? I’ve done it couple times so far and it does help. You express what’s on your mind and cry your eyes out but I have to tell you it’s like a huge weight of depression gets lifted off your chest. Slipping into depression is no joke. I’ve had panic attacks and anxiety for over 23 years with no meds. The Sun (Vitamin d) and walking is my best friend to overcome depression as well surrounding yourself with loved ones for emotional support. Good luck honey 😊 I wish you well.
