Yes. there is still a lot of land between Orlando and the coast or even toward Lakeland, But the greater Orlando area is really booming for sure.

I enjoyed this video! Stupid question, since it rains so much in the summer, can residents stop watering the grass, shrubs, trees, etc…and rely on Mother Nature? Do you just water in Winter?

That is not a stupid question. In most cases yes, we turn off our irrigation when water levels are sufficient, or if enough rain is coming to sustain it. Some grass can be a water hog. lol. In a lot of cases, homeowners end up with separate and specific irrigation just for flower beds to allow for options based on plant need. I think our irrigation has 5 zones with several options each. Usually December through May is very dry and we have to water 2x a week at least. I often find that the month before the rains come is the driest month of the year and we may have to water 3x/week, but I also find that water is more affordable than electric. lol.

This is literally about 5-7 minutes from Animal kingdom. This is as close as you can get on the west side of Disney property.

Yes. This area is called Horizon West. From 192 up Avalon Rd. to Siedel road. There is a new Horizon West High School, Elementary and Middle School just off 429. I like to follow this blog for more info: www.horizonwestinfo.com/
