I’ve been here over 10 years and the housing market is no joke. The median house price is over 450 k and rent is crazy. If your money is funny Denver probably isn’t the place for you. I’m not hating, I’m only being real. When I got here it was Giger than most, but now it’s stifling. Good luck and God bless.

Hope this doesn't persuade anyone else to move here!Denver is over populated for infrastructure traffic is getting horrible and the influx of people is driving the cost of living sky high .so please look elsewhere !# nativecolorado

This is america as if any culture would visit any other country europe, Japan ect. life is what you make it. I have been to colorado very nice warm feeling friendly people because of my mind set. I know my history and whwre I come from always keep that in mind. when you realize who you are life becomes beautiful. no matter what nationality you are if you do reaearch and educate yourself it shouldnt make you different from any other human being. Im in florida now from philly its ok😊, im planning on colorado soon. Sething about the mountains that makes me feel good inside , clean air very chill. clean water ect and laid back. I look forward in doing it again

Hi. I'm from Dallas and visited Denver for vacation and was taken by the friendly people, the city is clean and pedestrian friendly and there is a ton to do. I'm seriously considering a move to Colorado. Wonderful video! I took away some helpful /thoughtful advice.

Thank you for this video. I am in Fort Lauderdale right now and looking to move to Colorado no later than Feb 2015. I was curious to know what the race relations are like there as you should know Florida is really racist against minorities. Are the people there open minded and do they embrace different cultures? I have been in Fort Lauderdale since 2003 and although the weather is great I don't really think its a great place for minorities.

i checked your video library... you said you were going to make a part 2 to this video... but it's not there. i'm thinking about moving to denver, but after watching your video i'm having second thoughts. i used to live in san francisco during the dot.com bubble when finding an apartment was *really* difficult. not sure i want to move to an area that's like that again.

I'm ready to leave the South too, a diva seeks diversity mentally and physically, to many closed minded-backwards thinking-materialistic people here for my taste. Haven't been to Denver in 6yrs, but i like how their laws and city ordinances are set up plus every body's more conservative and laid back.

Do u live in a black neighborhood and what's the rent like on average from your experience? How are the police in regard to the treatment of young strong looking black men. I was contemplating moving to Denver but I read they don't have a large black community there and I'm dark skinned and I don't have the friendliest face or disposition but I'm not a "thug" nor do I have a record, I'm nothing like what people usually prejudge me to be. Id like to live in an area where I don't stand out too much and there's a possibility of meeting nice professional "real" black women and I'm safe from police and thieves. Are there any areas in or around Denver that fit what I'm looking for?
