Next door neighbor gave me seeds! So happy, within 3 days, they are growing! It rained everyday! Can't wait to see the blooms!

I love cornflower or also known as bachelor buttons. I'm growing them as well. I love that you can also collect their seeds after they bloom and dry out. The bloom also lasts a while in the garden. Your pot of cornflowers are beautiful! Liked and subscribed. Let's stay connected!!

do you plant them in full sun??? although everything i read says yes, mine are not thriving and I dont know why so i am guessing i might try part sun, much appreciated

Very interesting. I call these bachelor buttons, I call chicory cornflower. I've had a stand of bachelor buttons reseeding itself for 20 years. If you dont deadhead these or move them before the seed heads dry up, the seeds will fall off and grow in your stones. I love how prolific they are.

Yes they reseed very well. But I like to grow them in a controlled way.

Mine grow more like a vine because how I started them they been alive for almost a year now they are very nice and easy maintenance and are rare to get the seeds

I bought seeds, but I can't seem to get them to germinate. I'm frustrated. I really like the blue ones.

I have got the video on starting cornflower seeds 👇 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dm61zTyg5ko.html Please check out the video to see if you are doing anything differently. Cornflowers are cool weather annuals and germinte nicely between 15-21C. First attempt doesn't always work so you may try again in spring next year. Sometimes the seeds are not good enough to germinate. So you may want to buy seeds from another source.

They are really beautiful I have a question. Can we hand pollinate strawberries. Will the fruit be right

Yes you can. It won't hurt fruit production. In the first year though, strawberries produce only a little fruit. After that they produce so much that you don't need to worry about pollinating them.
