Update on the Mercury Optimax Repairs

I am a Marine tech but I rarely get these optic maxes. I am working on my second one its a 05 150 the previous owner passed away and his son in law brought it to me been sitting since 2019 I have learned so much on this engine. I didnt know about the compressor on these untill about two months ago. The plug was left in it so it flooded the boat and inside lots of corrosion inside. Had 18 year old plugs never changed original gear oil and original injection oil it was rancid and nasty had to pump put the tank of old gas. Took me some time to find the fuel filter my whole saler was out three months back ordered . Got it all together and then the dreaded beep beep beep WTF then I found out on RU-vid the sensor problem with the oil tanks I had everyh all most done. I called the customer last week told him about the sensor and ordered a new tank luckly they had it in stock . I just barely got it late yesterday customer called busting my balls about it taking so long I told him if the sensor hadnt been bad you would of had it last week. B eyound my control. I also told him I wass trusting him and ordered a bunch of parts with no deposit after that he settled down. When you people call a tech take into consideration he is busy with other jobs I am restoring a Chevelle and I am running out of time it going to be cold and freezing soon an I am trying to get my Snap on Tire machine rewired for the motor we are busy with other projects .I am on his engine now I will stay on it unitll its done
