Thank you for your truthful, informative insightful report. It is refreshing to hear a weatherman to have the integrity to give us the truth. Thank you Dennis! You are role model for the world to see especially a role model for your children.
I've always listened to Dennis because 10 out of 10 times he's ALWAYS RIGHT! Even more than the National Weather Service and the Hurricane Center. I'm talking about he's ALWAYS BEEN RIGHT for the past 15yrs that I've watched him!
This is exactly why this is the only weatherman I watch….he explains things in a calm manner…. He has been My Guy for years now…..that’s what I call him…..lol
The way he explained everything was great. I'm in one of the likely impacted areas in GA, so while i'm hoping some a last minute shift that would make conditions less, his approach didn't trigger fear or anxiety in me.
Wow!!! What a Rarity ! A weather man that isn’t exaggerating the Storm destruction. Will subscribe to your channel. You are the Best! Appreciate your honesty. So lacking today.
You are literally the first meteorologist I have heard who is not sensationalizing this storm. Forecasters need to understand that if they try to spook people unnecessarily, people will not trust them or take them seriously in the future when there is really something to be concerned about.
I don’t like hype and I don’t like underplaying it. In the middle is usually what actually happens. Hope he’s right. Houston sure seemed to get walloped by a Cat 1. But this isn’t going to directly hit a major metropolitan area. Even so, with the heavy rain watch for falling trees.
Thank You so much for explaining things in an easy to understand and HONEST forecast and not the confusing fear porn style that so many other folks do just for ratings! People have ENOUGH on their plates with everything else going on in the world!!!We all need more honesty and truth to navigate this life in these trying times. Well DONE,😊 Thank You!
For whatever reason storm surge is worse lately. Very interesting way of putting it……it speaks volumes of what is approved for public consumption. I like Dennis very matter-of-fact. If you want hurricane forecast that are full of hyperbole, choose another station
Do y'all think it will land somewhere near Newport Richey? I can't remember how far north that is from Tampa Bay. I stayed there with one of my Best friends. I am saying prayers for you all there in Western Florida. Angela from eastern North Carolina but live in Colorado......Let me know if I am thinking of it landing there near Newport Richey... Thank y'all...🙏🙏🙏🤔🙏🙏🙏
I know if I'm looking up north in Pennsylvania I found tropical storms more dangerous than hurricanes because they were underestimated you know what else I ran from native Floridians that tropical storms were stronger so they could do more damage underestimating and being in denial to the point of stupidity and scared stupid is more dangerous than the hurricane itself
