Bought a pair of st1 after watching this video. The quality/price ratio is pretty high and i'm happy with the purchase but, imho, the zs10 pro are much better... flatter and with more detail (the price is 4x tho)
Im agree with u pal.. there is something in the hi of st1 that i dont like. But the zs10, wow... I can listen to zs10 for 3 hours continues with my ears are smiling. But on st1's high.. ong... Itchy high..
Great video! I'm currently waiting for my new KZ ZSX to be delivered. Maybe after using them for some time I'll think of buying the ST1s. I really want to try out everything that's out there, haha. Keep it up!

Man, I recently received my TRN ST1 iems and man, thank you for this video that I saw a while back and motivated me to order them. These things are powerful, and feel like you’re not even wearing them. They really have low rumble when the song demands it and the wire feel nice and soft.

I have both of this. Kz Zs10 pro and TRN St1, for me the high of st1 is not that good compared to ZS10' high, thats only on my opinion. By the way good video... Deserve a like..
Well seems like I'm definitely going to be getting these IEM's then. Two main questions I have though: Is upgrading the cable worth it over the stock cable? (The only objective standard for me is whether it actually gets tangled in my pocket) and is the microphone actually good/audible during everyday use?
My only problem with the TRN ST1 are the eartips. It hurts my ear canals. I have extra eartips from my QKZ AK6 and used it on the ST1 and it immediately became comfortable.
thx for this review i only found out about iems yesterday even tho i’ve had a thing for good earphones i decided to get my first pair of iems the ones i got were trn st1 i’ve been using bose qc20’s, bose soundsports and airpods i can’t wait for them to arrive and see how they compare to my other earphones
I. Using them to listen to music but you can do both. They can be used in an on stage setting or at home to listen to music! The sound quality is incredible!
Hi Hobart !! I have just received my TRN ST1 last week and to be honest , I think it sounded better than my ZS10 pro for less than half the price of it !!! I would like to know if you recommend another TRN IEM ?? Thanks for your honest review ! I m using the ST1 with my KZ bluetooth cable, I have a question for you here. When I use the ST1 with my iPhone XR it seemed like the bass sound is muffled . However when I used it with my iPad Pro or my MacBook Pro, it just sounded fantastic. Do you think its the sound output from the iPhone XR that has a problem ?
Hello Jnlje, I'm so happy that you like your TRN ST1 IEMs. I actually kind of feel the same way. I really like the TRN ST1 IEMs equal to or maybe slightly better than the ZS10 pros. I don't know what it is about it but they just sound great. Unfortunately I don't use my IEMs very much with my phone so I'm not sure about your bass problem. Also I Don't use Apple products lol because I'm an Android guy haha. So I'm not sure about your issue with your iPhone XR. It shouldn't sound different between your phone and your computer but again that might be an Apple thing that I'm not familiar with. I appreciate you watching my videos very much my friend!
Yes you can. If you can wait a while it's definitely an option but these days it takes forever for shipping from China at least to USA because less planes are flying. Right now I have some IEMs for review that have been sitting for 1 month +. So for impatient no people like me I go for Amazon..lol.
Hello sir, Can you help me choose between kz zsn pro x and zs10 as their configurations are different alongwith price difference? I would be making my first IEM purchase and my budget is around $70. Hello first off thanks for the review and other videos on IEM earphones. I bought the kz zs10 pro and these. My opinion is this are lighter but as far as quality I have to give it to the KZ ZS 10 pro. I tried via phone and sound amp. Ks blows these IEM away. I found the base is way better then on the KZ and on this IEM the sound quality suffers significant at high volumes. Base distorts and voice cracks. But thank you for the reviews.

I bought it. The sound is great but a major flaw is that whichever earphone I connect mic to, gets less volume. I think mic is contributing to some impedance/resistance. I don't know if buying a separate cord will help or not. The cord build quality is great, mic is metallic; but is has that problem. Any advice Hobart ?
Does the memory foam ear tips in the description work with the TRN ST1? I wanna buy them if they do work with the IEM'S since I wear them for quite a while for dancing.
If you like the st1 because of the roll off at the highs, maybe you wanna try cca c12? ive had them and i prefer them over zs10 pro exactly for that. and higher mids. :p

i am from Bangladesh. for past 3years i have used Mi iron ring Pro. 1BA+1DD. but its cable is going bad slowly. it can be dead at any time. after watching you ZS 10 pro review. thinking of if i had to upgrade i would go for the zs 10 pro. because of the 4BA drivers. But i just found this. video. now i am confused. you said this one 1BA+1DD sounds great than the zs 10. .. Also i have noticed that most IEM does not have mic .. i casually play online multiplier game. So how will be the mic quality of these IEM? Because Decent mic would be helpfull though. hoping to get your answer?
Go for zst x for heavy bass gaming , zs 10 only for professional different music as it has 10driver but worse microphone cable, TRN st1 for classic music & all.

Hey, not necessarily. As far as specs the ZS10 pro will have more BA drivers BUT it's all about the way they are tuned. I actually like the ST1'S slightly better than the ZS10 Pro's but it's all personal preference. The difference is ZS10 had 4BA and 1DD while the TRN ST1 has 1BA and 1DD.
I knos this is late but I bought this for my little brother and I was expecting a really good sound because of reviewers saying that this is so good this is even better than kz zsn pro but when it arrived. It dissapointed me IT SOUNDS GOOD but not enough for me to like it I compared it to my kz zst pro which is Years old since release and to me it sounded better, my kz zst pro has pro detail and more high the st1 has a little bit of better bass but when we're talking about sound quality even the kz zst pro are better than the st1.. But I'm not saying not to trust reviewers they GOOD but is not enough for me. But hey we have different ears and taste so you might like it and I think it's best to just try one at a store before buying
ScyzorPL, I'm not sure as I have not tried the EDX Pros. They both have 1dd so the equipment is close to the same. It all depends on how they are tuned. I really liked the ST1 IEM's for sure.

Hey, I think it has less harsh highs than the ZS10 pro's for sure. They seem really balanced to me and not heavy on the highs in my opinion. Hope that helps!
They both have the same setup so it's hard to tell. It all about how they are tuned. Personally I like the ST1 maybe even better than my ZS10 pro's with more BA drivers. So yes I would say you may like them better than the KZ
Zsn piercing effect , in highs way clearer than st1 that put balance in it, makes it comfy enough for several hours , since I love my ears I pick trn st1

Hi, a noob here, i have a question which might sound stupid but, can i use these IEMs on a PC without an amplifier? The one i chose has 16 ohm resistance. Will it work out of the box or do i need to first set an equalizer up to get it to sound good? Thanks
Yeah I said the same thing. But I like it! I usually like a v type graph but when I put these on I said wow that's way better than I thought. Then I looked at the graph and said hmmm. Maybe that's why I like them. They jam out for sure.
@@HobartsReviews Hi! I don't know if my opinion is correct and from what I read that for older people like me degrades high frequency registration. Maybe it is why I get ear fatigue easily on high highs. Does it make sense? LOL
They both have the same number of drivers but I really like these TRN's. I think I actually like them slight better than my ZS10 Pro's and they are more expensive and have more drivers so if that tells you something. They are tuned well in my opinion. So answer would be yes..lol
Lol when you say IEMs are better than headphones you must've been comparing these to some dollar store headphones cuz I bought these and I couldn't have been more underwhelmed. I've actually bought headphones cheaper than these that have better quality. I'll just stick to my Sony XM4s lol
