KZ ZS10 Pro Review | Update: How Do I Like Them After A Few Months???

This is by far the best review of these IEMs. Bought these with gold cable and foam earplugs for around $36. I was looking for some affordable earphones and my friend suggested them. Hope I won't be disappointed

On a sidenote: that's likely injection molded plastic, not 3d printed plastic.

Hi everyone! I recently got my KZ Z10 pro straight from Aliexpress. The brown wire that came along with it is not very prone to tangling as these reviews are saying. I guess they have updated the cables since their first release!

Have you done a shootout between these and the ZSN Pro and an earlier set like the KZ ES4? I highly recommend it if you have a set of each lying around.

As a musician who isn't touring anymore but has a little experience under my belt. I use these once a week and they sound great. They obviously don't compare to custom molds but they're not supposed to they're under 50 bucks. Especially if you upgrade the ear tips to comply tips or for some people they prefer triple flange ear tips they just sound awesome.

The connector is called Two-pin Type-C or QDC. The bass could stand to be scaled back just a smidge. USD33 here in Asia. The KZ ZS10 Pro is solid. Must-buy in the price bracket.

I am currently using the sony wf-xb700 and hope my purchase was an update and no downgrade. Preferably with 10-17 Db boost between 20 and 40 Hz. These headphones should be able to go down to 8hz - I can't wait for them to arrive. The fact that Bluetooth can be retrofitted is absolutely great, so it may even completely replace my bulky sonys. Thank you for the review - concise, thorough, and helpful. I think these are the ones - it looks like it is hit or miss with the cable - the customer either gets the newer ( better ) cable or the older ( crapper ) cable.

I have had them for around 6 months and they are goood like srsly. The tremble is great. I find them best for long listening because they are not too analytical. Great for funk, pop and electro swing.

I have a few KZs. It's not even a question or option, you must change the cable and put foam tips of some kind on.

I thought that cable was cool as hell lol it looks awesome and mine has a mic.

The KZ brown cable are just the best!! They are stiff so the never make knots. I really love this cables.

I could not believe it. After your and several other reviews, I got these. HOLY S*&! So, I listened to rando tracks of mine and Brother, Alice in Chains, came on. I've heard this song 100's of times - AT LEAST - since released in '92. I start in, chilly tension builds, feels like im in the studio, phasing is just so lovely, then the chorus kicks and BANG could not only hear the background vocalist crystal clear, I COULD TELL WHO THE SINGER WAS! My brain was like...'uhhhh, is that who I think it is???' Sure as anything (googled it) IT WAS HER - Ann Wilson from Heart! Whaaaaaaaa??!! For me - this is like when Mario snags a mushroom power up into a fantastical sonic portal! I'm in a bit of shock here. OH, AND the volume floor level I listed at is crazy LOW now with these. I can literally begin to hear at (1 to 100 scale, PC) Volume 1, 12 is comfortable level, and 20 is starting to really get busy. This is out of the box, NO custom tips...JUST +/-$49 and my world has forever changed. My hearing clocks low end just above 14Hz and High end just below 15KHz - a bit better than most normal human range. This is by NO MEANS a technical measurement, but self-tested through various means. I'm just a regular Dude, abiding along the way. After super early impression, I would highly recommend these. My next step is the KZ AZ 15 wireless addon! If you're just an average Joe/Jill - there's is no way you will be disappointed with these. Just really affordable and the sound is dynamically impressive!

I just bought a set of these for my electronic drums. I have a cheaper pair of KZs I don't remember the model number but these are definitely Superior! And loud! I think I'm going to need to order the upgraded cable though. Nice review thank you

I just got these and I think they are amazing, although just a tad bright for me at high levels. Just want to upgrade the cable to something a little more silky and get rid of that 90 degree plug... but these are golden...sound good, look cool

i use them on my pc. if i go over 18 percent of volume its already too loud :D

Question from a musician who plans to play on stages again very soon (delusional, right?😂): I ordered a pair of KZ ZSN Pro X and the sound is incredible, especially for the price. Highs feel a bit harsh at times but what truly worries me is how much louder most KZ models are to more well known brand IEM’s. As in they can go so loud they could easily mess up your hearing and when you’re being mixed by an engineer that assumes your IEM’s have “normal” loudness sensitivity things could get quite dangerous. Thoughts?

Informative review, thanks! The brown cable didn't bother me at all, but what did bother we was the Bluetooth module. It's total crap. Loud chattery noise floor, very loud and compressed connection announcements and horrible bendy wire ear hooks. I ended up buying a Fiio Bluetooth module to use with my KZ, which is a shame, as it's not as compact.

Hey, I bought the ZS10 Pros after watching your video. I bought the gold silver upgrade cable and when i unboxed it, it has a burning plastic smell. Is this normal and does it go away? It is very unpleasant.

I loved these iems the only thing I didnt enjoy was that trying to push out more bass ended up in muffled sound. I suppose that should be expected since to make a iem with this many drivers is costly so they cant use top notch drivers. The sound was so great though im still searching for replacement with better low end functionality. I would love this same set, but a higher quality more pricey version.

Do you think the kz zsn pro x iems are more or less valuable for the money compared to the kz zs10 pro?

Love your vids and found this one and your IEM’s vs ear buds vids really useful and interesting. As I’m new to IEM’s I’ve picked up the new KZ ZSN Pro X to see what they’ll be like first and then go from there. Have you tried these out by any chance? I believe they go with 1 dynamic and 1 balances armature driver. I want to try them for gaming rather than over ear all the time. Thanks

The thing thats holding me back from buying these is you only comparing them to over ear headphones. I only buy in ear earphones. I really like the Rha t20i, but they are discontinued and idk how those would compare to these.

Hey, i wanna ask, i alr use this KZ ZS10 Pro since Dec 2019 and it sounds amazing! Now the right is start cracking in high volume. The question is should repair it or Should I just upgrade to the better cable? Should i upgrade to only kz gold plated or any better recommendation, like JC or yinyoo or something? And for the tips, should i upgrade too to spinfit? Or do u hv another better recommendation? I’m using this as an IEM for church playing Saxophone. Alr subscribe btw :)

Thanks for the advice on these in-ears ; I have ordered them and they are arriving in 6 days time, so I'm looking forward to trying them. I am still unsure as to how these would be used on-stage, and if I need any other accessories to make that connection but at least I can plug them into my Korg Kronos and it would be handy for me there. Greeting, I almost bought my first ones IEM, KZ ZSN PRO X and I had no experience with similar headphones before them, I was thrilled to hear them for the first time but also irritated my ears with too loud sound and aggressive high frequencies, but I soon got used to it. I am a musician and I create and playing music, so I have experience with many monitors speakers and headphones of larger format such as AKG K712 PRO, so I generally liked the sound ZSN PRO X. Now it came to me by Friday that I can buy very cheap CCA C12, CCA C10 PRO and KZ ZS10 PRO, and since I don't plan to change those headphones later, I'm interested in which ones are of the highest quality and is there a clear difference between them and mine ZSN PRO X which I already own? I listened to a lot of videos about them and read a lot of reviews and I can say that I am more confused than at the very beginning. Please help me. thanks in advance

Has anyone tried the upgrade cable with mic? I have a zs10 pro with stock cable. Use it to listen to music and make conference calls. My team mates complain about not hearing me all the time.

My cheap ass thought, "Oh, what's the big difference between the ZS10s and ZSNs?" About three more balance drivers in each ear, that's what! Kinda wishing I'd just dropped the extra $20 on the ZS10 Pros lol, I mean, the ZSN Pros are good, but I'd like to hear what I'm missing out on lol

Only some LG phones can rock high impedance over ear monitors. The hi fi quad dac is amazing!

I am searching for the flattest frequency response IEM's, what wold you suggest? There is no measurement chart for any of those monitors, it is difficult to decide as everyone give us their subjective opinion about the sound. I read somewhere that these KZ ZS10 Pro have roll off over 10 khz but with some bump at 5 to 7 khz, what do you think?

Should I buy the shure 215 or these? I play drums for church and they just have something like a headset but the isolation is terrible and I can barely hear what im playing which is very difficult, I have to take one side off in order to play, is terrible, I went to guitar center and they recommend the shure s215 but I can also go with these. The gold and silver blend cable is not available in my country. Will kz's silver plated Single-25-core, the main line of 4 shares 100 core cable do good to these IEMs? Will order them together...

Hey, bought these a while back and they had this slight buzzing/noise whilst plugged in to my phone that I could hear at lower volumes and really annoyed me as I dont often listen to music really loudly. I tried to look it up but couldnt find a solution so I returned them and haven't bought new ones. I wonder if I just had a faulty pair or if it is something that occurs on all of them and most people just don't care.

Hey I’m looking to buy these as regular earbuds to listen to music on Spotify at school and I listen to higher vocal artists like SIA, Katy Perry, Mariah Carey, Madonna and more and they do lots of high notes and some people have said those high notes get distorted and a little glitchy and weird so do you think that has happend to you and do you think I should still purchase them?
