Zs10 Pro without a doubt have kicked all my other headphone/earphone/earbud collection to the storage bin. I upgraded the cable to the Tripowin C8 and my ear tips though silicone seal perfectly. Kudos on the KS10 Pro's.

You can slightly bend one of the pins to create a bit of friction. Copper is very malleable.

John informative KZ comparison. My ZS10 never had loose pin problems using the KZ white braided upgrade cable, with the color coded barrel 2 pin connectors. KZ needs to lose those bad silicone eartips, get another brand tips like Comply, etc...Nice job as always...

you can't expect KZ to just pack in tips similar to Comply without more cost, if they added Comply you'd have to probably pay an extra 10$

the big tip for kz's when you get them, once you plug in your cable, never pull them out unless YOU REALLY HAVE TO, if like they break or you need to replace them for something better or whatever. why? coz the holes in the iem will get looser and looser over time if you keep taking them out like that. just try not too do it no matter what, just leave them in.

I got the zs10 and the cable is fine. And the bass is perfect for songs..the buds that comes with them are great..dont use bigger buds..dont increases your ear canal hole for that ! The originals are soft and small just pus the buds in a bit further..and the bass is perfect..dam I just ordered the kz as10 for bass I now know I don't need 😳 I have no problem with the zs10 size some time I don't know they are in both ears..

Greeting, I almost bought my first ones IEM, KZ ZSN PRO X and I had no experience with similar headphones before them, I was thrilled to hear them for the first time but also irritated my ears with too loud sound and aggressive high frequencies, but I soon got used to it. I am a musician and I create and playing music, so I have experience with many monitors speakers and headphones of larger format such as AKG K712 PRO, so I generally liked the sound ZSN PRO X. Now it came to me by Friday that I can buy very cheap CCA C12, CCA C10 PRO and KZ ZS10 PRO, and since I don't plan to change those headphones later, I'm interested in which ones are of the highest quality and is there a clear difference between them and mine ZSN PRO X which I already own? I listened to a lot of videos about them and read a lot of reviews and I can say that I am more confused than at the very beginning. Please help me. thanks in advance

I'd say that each of the major frequency ranges are in a nice proportion - for the ZS10 PRO. Things like cymbals and hi hats tend to be sharper than you'd expect. I fully get the hype over the ZS10 PRO. Major step up by KZ.

I use KZ ZSN Pro for a couple of years now. I don't have a need to move to some other universal fit IEMs, but I occasionally think about moving to the ZS10 Pros. Fit is a concern as I would not want anything larger than the ZSN. Fit-wise, none that I've tried are better than single drivers like the SE215. Customs would be nice but I don't have the kind of coin. My instrument is the bass, btw, for reference.

I've since upgraded to the ZS10 Pro and it's a definite improvement over the ZSN Pro. ZSN were not an issue with the Phenyx Pro PTM-10 wireless system I was using, but it was after upgrading to Audio-Technica ATW-3255 wireless system. The ZS10 Pro with the new IEM wireless system brings out the low B string well. Highly recommended particularly if one is using Shure, Sennheiser, or Audio-Technica wireless systems. I don't have any experience with the cable that comes with it. Upgraded to the KZ gold cable right off the bat. It's a little too thick on stage for my preference, but it doesn't tangle. That alone makes with worthwhile. It's a hassle getting to the church each time, setting up and messing with the tangled cable out of the case each time. No matter how careful I put them in the case, it comes out always tangled. No more hassles with the upgraded cable.

What do you think of the BA10? And also what IEM would you recommend for a drummer? I want something with bass, but also clarity and soundstage and presence to seperate the different drums and cymbals. Which IEM should i get? I have £50-60.

ZS7 all the way. Best bass and nice highs without the piercing ugly treble that lot of kz’s have. I also love the somewhat forward mids of the ZS7, as they accentuate the vocals in most songs.

Thank you for the video John Mike. Which of these models would you think would be best for a click-track only monitor for a drummer on a non-mic'd set to isolate the click track for timing purposes? The tracks have very little bass at all... mostly just shakers, snaps, and triangles. I'll definitely use the link when I shop.

I was using a dragonfly back, (tried the cobalt, didn't like it, sent it back) now I use the Hidizs Sonata HD DAC which is €45 for a 32bit Dual channel DAC that you can flash from being audio and mic, to being hires single channel. Comes with a nice little hard case into which I cram the ZS 10 PRO, the upgraded cable, the DAC and the USB C converter dongle

I find the ZS10 Pro to have far more sibilance than the ZS7. I just wish the ZS7 had a more rounded shape. The angularity begins to hurt after an hour or so.

The connector in your cable for ZS10 is a Type A - KZ cable. You should get the Type B.

pretty sure the most obvious option would be Comply. 500 series could probably fit, 400s are a tight fit on my AS10(provided all the IEMs of KZ have the same sized sound emitter)

I literally ordered ZS10s two days ago. I should have bought the AS10. For the extra few dollars, I could have better bass. I play keys and bass at church. I just want these as a backup set for my Shure SE215s. Always gotta have a backup pair!

Yes. But if you don't want to spend another 30-50 $ in the PRO version of the KZ ZS10, you can try the CCA C10, is the cheapest 10 driver IEM (and also very good for the price IMO).

Zs10pro will give you what you looking for..they have a very good lowend that doesnt muddy up the vocals. I love using them with bass boosted tracts, or edms with good rumbling lowends.

J E N O V A F P V I think a 7.1 surround sound headphone would work better because since these earbuds are used in a stereo for so , you would probably hear the footsteps better but i would assume it would be a lot harder to tell which direction the footsteps are coming from

For big bass I would go with the ZS7...but the 10pros have a good even distribution of all frequencies

I have both earphones And if you like that a deep punch, get the s7. The 10 pros have a cleaner sound for voices and cymbals that can be adjusted with an equalizer. With the s7, you can feel the 👊🏽of the bass drum.

ZS10 Pro for the win. The AS10 has a wider sound stage but that hi end kills me. The minute i turn up to get a lil more bump the hi end kills my ears. The ZS10 pro's are not just balanced they are more enjoyable to listen to. not sure if these require a break in period because I just got them. The AS10's are loud but at a cost. If like allot of hi end or you're going def then maybe these are for you.

Your zs10 cable isn’t the correct cable, the right cable it’s L shaped, that’s because it fits loose

That’s the cable I received with my 10s when I ordered last year...they might be shipping a different cable with it now

Zs10 pro is not a balanced iem. U can check the frequency response online. Its a v shaped

Balanced is also equivalent to v or u shaped. Means bass and treble is in the same level that's why it considered balanced.

in your ears say what? Balanced is equivalent to v and u shaped signature? As a sound technician i never heard of it. I think the other guy was right a bit U shaped since Mids recessed is less dramatic on this one.

Balanced doesn't mean a flat response. Balanced is subjective when it comes to sound so if anyone says that, it doesn't really mean much since we all hear slightly differently.
