Talked to Danny Parker and he says this is definitely not Mack Hyatt. He also says I can take it to the bank that this is David Boggs getting out of the car. Keith Smith says he would put his money on it being David Boggs unless something persuaded him otherwise. The announcer says David Boggs. The car was signed in as David Boggs. David says he has never seen this car. The driver this day was wearing a white helmet. Mack wore a black helmet in 1983. Mack doesn't remember racing this day at Pender County in April 1983. The owners son says it definitely is not Mack and looks for sure to be David. He said David did drive the car at least one time. Driver gets out of car at end of race.
