Why put your posts so deep, makes no difference after 2ft as they will all rot at ground level over time no matter how deep they are. Not a criticism, just curious. I have been putting posts in 2ft deep (for 6 ft fences) for years and never had an issue. I would absolutely hate to dig out any posts that you have installed, would be an absolute nightmare Wullie...... 😩 2ft deep more than adequate in my opinion.
