I just recently bought the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water because of your recommendation. This is my first ginseng product and my skin loves it it A LOT! It's very hydrating and you're so right when you said that it makes your skin looks so good! I also bought Dr Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence ( because of you) and of course I love that product too😁. I've been waiting for this video. Thanks Kelly!
I've been wondering whether or not there would be any benefit to using both of those in the same routine? I'm trying to figure out if I need both. What do you think?
@@erynnamour I don't use them both in my routine... I love using the Kombucha essence in "cool" months (I'm from the Philippines so it's usually very hot and humid here)....but honestly I can still use it even if it's hot.. it's not heavy on the skin...I love the texture of it and how it makes my skin look... I bought the ginseng essence because Kelly raved about it so much and everything she said in her videos are so true! I can't decide which one I love more...but I'd say if you like more moisture in your essence go for the Kombucha one... and ginseng essence for hydration.
@@erynnamour I wanted to do the same because they felt so wonderful on my skin..BUT..more than 1 essence at a time and I just broke out. So now I rotate and use a different essence every time after I wash my face..i.e. twice a day..That way my skin calmed down and I got to use many beautiful products..
My dad who is now in his 80s and was a big sun worshipper has been using left over green tea bags over his face for the last nearly 40 years. You wouldn’t believe how great his skin is and that’s all he’s ever used, no other products but soap!!
those are good genetics, not skincare. My white mother (I clarify race because is REALLY crucial and I'm not white) is 53, barely has any white hair, barely has any fine line and wrinkle and she never had a concistent skincare routine and never used spf everyday. But she never smoked nor drank
I FINALLY tried the Kombucha essence after all these years, and only because StyleKorean just included a full size for FREE with a recent order. My goodness, it was love at first swipe for me, too. I can't get enough of putting it on my face.
The amorepacific vintage single extract essence is one I can always use on sensitive skin! And it totally does everything that you said, and it really reduces redness in my skin and helps with rosacea. I like to get it on sales since I try to always keep it in my routine. It's my love ❤️

I love the Dr Ceuracle essence too - it's such a joy to use. I only have a travel size but I'll have to purchase the full size once I get through some products.
I’m using the De Ceurcle Kombucha essence at the moment and love it. My skin is dry and this is so hydrating. I’ve not used any of the others but the BoJ one looks good, will try that next as I’ve not used Ginseng before in my skincare
I ordered Dr Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence and the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water 2 weeks ago because of your recommendation. I have been using the Kombucha Tea Essence for 5 days and I can already feel the difference. My skin feels dewy and has a certain glow. I have not tried the Ginseng Essence Water yet, I want to first fully check the effect of the Kombucha after using it for a week.

I've got dry and sensitive skin, and quite eczema prone skin on the outer corners of my eyes, and am lucky enough that I haven't got acne prone skin(or even a tendency to hormonal acne) - I get the odd clogged poor but that's really it. And since trying a single mugwort essence for the first time, and then trying and since then being very loyal to(in a way that that's the only essences I use both am and pm) the Misha and the Tonymoly ones(I tend to buy the cheapest one, which often is Misha) my skin feels stronger and like it can take more before it becomes sensitive and irritated ,and as an added bonus I can clearly see a difference in both the eczema on my outer corners and especially in the clogged pores because it doesn't 100% keep the eczema at bay but it 100% does keep the clogged pores at bay
I love the "fat water" feel of my Maycoop Raw Sauce, though that's more toner and less essence. I am also a huge fan of the Laneige cream skin line, toner or mist versions. I would love to explore more of the milky toners/essences, but I'm not sure where to start venturing out...there is so much from which to choose! However, i'm going to try the Dr. C essence next. It has that creamy texture that I love, so this may be the ONE to try to move beyond my Cream Skin Refiner. ❤️❤️❤️
I love the amore pacific essence. I have been using it for 2 years and as soon as I stop using it. I can see the difference. I also am obsessed with the Dr. Ceuracle essence. I use these two products together one as a first essence and one as a sealing essence after my toner and my skin feels incredible!!
My favorites are dr. c kombucha essence and im from mugwort since my skin is very sensitive and dehydrated. I also use the boj essence during the warmer days
Dr C is my cold weather favorite with Hado Labo whitening my favorite for summer and Sioris Essenser my favorite for transition season. I use others like Dear Klairs or Hanskin with my nuFace.
I am really confused about what essence to buy misha, mugwort , ginseng or vegan kombucha tea or isntree green tea toner. I have acne prone skin, and some dullness in the skin.
My favs are the RNW renew essence it replaced Scinic essence for me still love the Scinic essence though and I got a sk11 GWP sample so I finally get to try and compare those , the Dr Cereacul kombucha essence is my favorite thing ever I loved it since day 1 too and it last forever so u get your moneys worth out of it a bottle lasted me a year pretty much using it daily even 2 times a day cause you only need such a small amount. I need to retry the BOJ ginsing I was having skin issues thought it could have been that so I sent it back but idk now but I seem to not have luck with BOJ products their is something in their base formula that my skin doesn't like I think . I really want to try the Amorapacific greentea I'm just like do I need to spend 100$ on an essence ..lol and can't make my self do it I'm like I can order this thi this and this for that amount and have so many more items to try, that's how I always look at it when I got to order it and talk myself out of it. Then tell myself the isntree greentea is just as good .
Amore Pacific sounds great. However, most can’t pay over $100 per bottle for toner. There are so many that will help the skin for a fraction of the cost. What’s funny is that company also makes cheaper products like Laneige, Innisfree, Momande, Etude House, etc. they have a large portfolio of companies they own.
Kelly, do you think ginseng is not great for rosacea? I have Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water, I don¨¨t skin it is so great.I like mugwort essence much more. Could you please make a video for rosacea skin? Especially which time of serums really work. I heard that creams are not so important. I dont find toners bring much either. Thanks a lot in advance!
Hey Kelly 💜 I'm currently loving the Pky essence toner, the quad active essence by wishtrend and also the Mizon snail repair essence. They are all very different from each other but I find they benefit my skin in different ways. It's like taking your supplements right? ☺️
I dunno Kelly, maybe there is a theoretical difference between essences and toners but it does not look like brands know it, plenty of toners with active ingrediets, ferments and antioxidants now from both western and K beauty.
I don’t know which one to take and in which more useful components are dr Ceuracle or Beauty of Joseon? My skin is normally acne prone. What would you suggest?

Hey Kelly! Do you use your serums before or after the Tea Essence? I know serums go after an essence, but since this one has oil should it be used after serums?

I have the Dr ceuracle I used it mainly after face wash tbh. But I only put small layer of it and I have to wait for it to absorb since it has oil then I use serum. However if I layer it like 2-3 I don't use serum I straight with a light weight moisturizer

@@pinkeristaa np! thats exactly how i felt. as nourishing as cream skin was, it always left like a greasy residue...the dr ceuracle is especially nice right after a shower if u use hot water and ur face gets super dry from the steam
I have a question about Chaga I have the Chaga make prem essence but I'm kinda confused on it is it just like a calming antioxidant for sensitive skin yes I was curious so I got it but thank goodness I got it at a major good sale or idk if I would have paid full price I think I paid 15$ for the full size from make prem for a 50$ essence so I dont feel like I wasted money but I only seem to reach for it when I'm super sensitive
I wouldn't recommend using all these together. Focus on one to see the benefits and not overwhelm your skin. Any of these can be paired with a hydrating toner if you want more hydration in your routine!
I'm new to essences and your videos have been really helpful. I'm trying to decide between the Missha Time Revolution and Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence. I have combination skin that leans dry and am unsure which would be a better fit. Please share your thoughts. Thanks!

Dimethicone is onfen put into products for acne prone skin to be the dedicated occlusive ingredient and dermatologists like it, I have never had a problem with it so wouldn't worry.
