i think the biggest thing people need to take into consideration is that for a assassin like EVE and akali rocketbelt will almost always be better since you need to burst and the dash is super OP while your cooldowns are big enough you wont be spamming it and on akali side she wont have energy, while for champs like vladmir that DEPENDS entirelly on cooldown to stay alive while also night harvester procing on every single enemy he uses a skill since the cooldown is based on enemy not general like rocket belt, it is much stronger for him even tho he really likes the dash of rocketbelt hes best build path is with night harvester, also you need to take into consideration that using rocketbelt means you can postpone void staff for better items like shadowflame or even rabbadon depending of enemy items and squishynes, while building night harvester for vlad you can skip cosmic drive directly for rabbadon as second wich is not as strong building rocketbelt. EDIT: the cooldown table does not work for vlad since you need to add 2x his Q cooldown because his empowered Q is ridiculously op in TF and fundamental for fights so postponing the empowered Q by 2-3 seconds is what makes rocketbelt so much worse than night harvester since you can prolong the fight much safer and will have more rotations of your Q and E since vlad basically wants to spam skills as much as possible NH is the best item for him 75% of the comps.
Yeah with nh you see them rush it (gragas for inatance) and just go mercs/hexdrinker to basically counter their entire champ unless they go literally nh into void which is also pretty bad

Rocket belt's magic pen is irrelevant, it barely does 10 more dmg than NH on full build on tankier targets. While on squishies NH pulls ahead by a long shot. And the rocket belt dash is never used for damage and it's damage is insignificant.
True, but again, rocket belt isn't used on Evelynn for the damage. Then again, I rarely have an issue getting on top of a gank once I have stealth, so I like to use NH more often.
@@JohnB-mo4kq every streamer and pro player is still preaching about how NH does no damage, bec belt has magic pen and NH doesn't. That's the whole point, ppl are stupid and follow blindly advice of idiots who barely know what they're talking about
i too think nh is better but personally i find more success with rocket belt on diana and find it weird. i actually looked up this comparison coz of her. thanks for the video tho its easier to understand with first strike.
