Hi Suja,my kids are US CITIZENS BOTH ARE MINORS WITH A 10 YEAR TOURIST VISA ISSUED IN 2017.CAN THEY NOW TRAVEL TO INDIA ON THAT VISA OR DO WE HAVE TO APPLY FOR NEW VISAS FOR THEM? THE UPDATED GUIDELINES SAYS THAT THE REGULAR TEN YEAR TOURIST VISAS HAVE BEEN RESTORED BUT I JUST TO CONFIRM THE SAME WITH YOU AGAIN AS I WANT TO BE SURE OF IT

Suja. I have my visa for India for 10 years and expires on 2027. I am US citizen married with Indian citizen. I have to make a new visa again? Please give me your advice. Also my daughter is travelling with me to India on March 2022 can she apply for Indian passport? She was born in US but she will stay in India for school and autism treatment. Or she can go with regular tourist or education?

Hi suja madam,I have a question...now my oci under proccesing..I am trying to plan to go November third week(USA to india). But oci coming in December second week in usa address . That week suppose I am in India if I gets tourist visa..if somebody bring my coming oci to India. I can use that oci to travel back to usa.i mean I want to extend 30 days to stay in India. Is that possible?

Hi Mam, I see that you mentioned that the consulate currently is issuing Tourist VISA only for 30 days but I don't see that mentioned on the consulate website can you please point to where you were able to get that information. You forgot the TN ePass if traveling to Chennai. Emirates Airlines insists that we carry TN ePass, if not they don"t let you board. I have seen lot of Indians in DFW unable to board because of TN ePass.

Hi Suja, I applied OCI cards 2 weeks ago for my whole family, applications are under process right now, and my travel date is 27 Nov, we will stay there for 3 months, can I travel on e-visa and get OCI couriered in India so that I don't need to take any visa extension and my family can exit india on OCI? do you see any issue using this route ?

My travel to India is coming up in 1 month. Just thought of checking if there is any way to fly to India in case I don’t receive my OCI before my travel?
