This is the easiest way to use malice clips to mount gear to your MOLLE platforms. Taking the kydex out of the estacc KYWIs makes this WAY EASIER.
Malice clips are great for mounting MOLLE and PALS compatible gear to belts, bags, and rigs. In this video, Mac runs through a quick guide on how to use Malice Clips to mount MOLLE and PALS gear and provides an example of this by mounting an esstac KYWI mag pouch to a TRex Arms Orion Belt.

I don't bother with malice clips anymore. Velcro One-Wrap is the way to go, especially on hook & loop inner / outer belt combos.

Anytime you are dealing with Velcro, grab a tongue depressor aka popsicle stick. Makes it so much easier

Yes! But only if you intentionally undo the tab. If you install them correctly they will not come loose.

I found another video that makes it even easier is to use a piece of string/shoe lace, loop it through malice clip hole then insert it to the webbing then pull it

I just figured out a better way to break loose the Velcro and block it while reinstalling the inserts. Use an extra malice clip and shove it in there to break it loose and put in before inserting the inserts upon reassembly

What about a 5.56 mag holder? They sent the same size malice clips but they are 4rows of molle. So do i just leave om out and go for the three? Like on the pistol?

If the malice won’t go through all four, pick the three loops you’d want. You could adjust how high they sit on the belt. Otherwise run it through all four, and select three for the weave, like the pistol mags. Does that help?

Excellent question! With a dull shiv, like a flathead screwdriver, lift the tab on the malice clip, and back the longer part that weaves through the MOLLE out. Let us know if that helps.
