I feel that the M1 classic will be viable many years into the future with advent of Nvida SFF-ready GPU standard which are the biggest GPUs that can still comfortably fit in this case.

@MachinesMore Месяц назад
Indeed, at the end of the day the “SFF-ready” standard is more of a tool for consumers to short-list GPUs for builds, but if it encourages AIBs to stick to smaller coolers/power efficient designs, then it will be helpful.

Still a great case, im feeling a little stuck with my NR200P recently with the such limited ITX recently there seem to be so many great MATX boards. I do like the look of the ASUS B650E-I but with so many reports of coil whine i cant help but feel wary.
@F1stzz
@F1stzz Месяц назад
The coil whine is reported precisely by those who use 7900X/7950X CPUs in combo with the said motherboard. I've seen no such complaints coming from people having 7700X/7600X, essentially the more efficient chips with lower power draw won't cause any coil whine with the mentioned B650E-I.

You might take a look at the MSI b650i as another ITX option!

@@F1stzz that’s reassuring I’m not sure my budget would stretch to the higher end just yet so a 7600 would likely be what I’d pair it with.

@@MachinesMore I need to look at that board a little more. But it does seem like a good alternative.

Running that board in a NR200p Max with a 7800 x3d with no issues

Thanks for your balanced reviews of the AMD 9000 series from an SFF perspective. I'm considering a similar build (with a 16GB 4060ti) in a Louqe Ghost S1 case. I don't suppose you happen to be an X-Plane pilot and able to give me an idea of how the 9700X/4060ti combo performs in XP?

love your content man but this is an odd cpu and you "upgrade" 😅 why not a 3D chip and what the 4060ti?? the 4070 super makes way more sense and isn't that much more.

Lovelt build - I came into the SFF space a few years too late to get an M1, but I hope to upgrade my wife's NR200P to an M2. I'm using an SS135 in my C4-SFX upon your recommendation, and it's quite a powerful tower!

Is that a chipset fan? Ugh I always found them so obnoxiously loud.

Love seeing the M1 still in use, great case. I really wish I had never sold mine.

Good video, thanks. The MB uses an AM5 socket, but I noticed you used fan brackets that said AM4. Are those cooler brackets interchangeable??
@Pieteros21
@Pieteros21 Месяц назад
the am4 and am5 mounting holes are the same , you can use am4 brackets as long as they don't use dedicated backplate because different socket construction .

Hopefully you get your hands on a 7600X3D and do some tests, if it really is a thing. I'm at the end of a build myself and I have a 4060ti and I'm wondering what AM5 65W (or low-ish wattage) cpu to pair it with since I only have a 500w flex. Also, how is the 4K performance of the build? Thanks for your videos.
@MachinesMore
@MachinesMore Месяц назад
I wouldn’t specifically recommend the 4060 ti for 4K unless you have the 16GB VRAM version, but if you’re not looking for high FPS in general it will be fine. For higher res gaming the 7600/7700 (non-X) would be great especially at current pricing.

What do you think about the side by side comparison between Formd T1 vs Ncase M2?
@MachinesMore
@MachinesMore Месяц назад
As in which one is better? They’re very different. With the M2 you have more CPU cooling and board choices, good for higher powered/bigger GPU builds. T1 is going to lean towards AIO/liquid cooled builds, and it’s quite a bit more compact, so you have to be more selective component-wise.

The 9700X has 65 watt TDP and you'd be fine to use a much smaller cooler.
@MachinesMore
@MachinesMore Месяц назад
Yes, smaller top down coolers would also be fine here. But for only $35 and it running very quietly, it’s hard not to recommend it due to the form factor within this case.

both the 9700x and the 4060 Ti are just bad value for price to performance.
