i love seeing older characters keep up over the years because it encourages strategizing team comps and makes our rosters feel more personalized in the long run
@@Boilona lot of people tell me “Iron Man doesn’t worth building”. Well, let’s see. If I build Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye, I would have them available for Doc Ock’s quest anyways, and I need him for my sinister six team. So why not just build an avengers team?
@@Bob53019 so here’s the alternative plan. I upgrade X-Force instead. I haven’t really built much of avengers either way, 3 stars don’t count as a big investment. But which character should I go with for X-Force?
Me knowing Vulture became a villain owing to his impaired body part (spine, was it?) just explains how he would canonically be an OP hero otherwise...maybe even better than Falcon.
As a f2p, i find it hard to get in or maintain plat 1, last season was the first time i got to plat 1 and it was about to reset, and man at plat 1 was paired with whale, two times in a row, and got send back to gold 3, i build s6 not very high since scopely bombarded us with raid teams two of them, so i needed to prioritise them first, so i was low on gears and t4 and at that time i was still working on dd6, i learned from that experience is not worth doing CC and the diamon you get is not even worthit, qhat i do now is i use the 7yellow elite credits to convert it to diamonds, since i always get that win or lose, so i just stop chasing CC it will deplete your resources especially in plat you will face whales from there on.
I mean I thought Platinum was very reasonable to obtain. Last I checked it was a good chunk of players. Though, I read a comment somewhere maybe on Reddit suggesting that the total players based on trophies has dimished, so might be a separate video topic.
@@Boilon it was doable before, but this season is not, the reason is a lot of player are at 98 to 99, plus the new raid difficulty for incursion increase raid oriented alliance have to invest into raid teams especially in mutant and bio, you can't go low investment on them if you do it's a battle of RNG, and not only that we haven't done 2.3 yet I don't know how much more I need to put into my raid teams for the next difficulty and what makes matter worst is that CC became a fight that who has better defense and gear level investment, like g18 s6 if I see that team on defense I know I won't be able to clear it, other rooms are not easy now am facing a lot of defensive oriented teams, like extreme, and now black knight paired with Karter and og cap, and they are pretty big since BK is arena meta, cap and Karter are rebirth raid meta before so they're big, plus SD is still a thing, so unless you have a deeper roster and invested level and gear on your CC you won't be able to compete, and not to mention gold cost have increase,training mats, and t4 are so hard to come by, and CC team like s6 that doesn't have t4 it feels like night and day, I know this since I use GGC without t4 and he gets wreck, but when I added it it went smooth, but I can't do that to other teams since they give us minimal amount of t4 and raid teams need t4 as well, so I just stop doing cc its just stressful.
Right now, Crucible is pay-to-win and forget about it if you are F2P. Just almost like you, I dropped from plat (III) to gold I (II now) and I really doubt that +60M TCP should be in that lower rankings. The matchmaking is absolutely rigged and favors people who spend. I can't see a single CC F2P video high ranked in YT, all of them are at least light~medium spenders. Also, there's no way I'm 100% of the time the lowest TCP every damn week for like 3 or more seasons. In early past seasons there was a balance that ceased to exist at the moment because Scopely needs to make money. If you are f2p the best advice is just to skip/avoid CC as it's a waste of resources and time. You can't even reach the far ending to get a little chunk of resources. Don't fall for this FOMO trap.
Ikaris is someone who has surprised me for being one of the oldest characters on this list, or frankly any tier list (including my upcoming one). It really has to do with the mechanics though, much like how Infinity Watch has surprised a lot of people for CC defense anyways.
Yeah your diamon philosophy is the same as my gold creds philosophy was, i never bought 7rs cus for every 2 toons i could 7 rs i could 6rs 3 so im prolli thinking the same way with diamonds exxept going to 2 for some but none for 3 unless i feel REALLY strongly about it
I have like 9k dark diamond shards but I have basically none of the Dark Promo characters at 7 red stars. They need to make dark promo credits more widely available.
Dark Promos are much more available than they were in the past because red star orbs are way more available, you gotta open them for 10x DPC. That being said you need to streamline your upgrades because otherwise you'll never get 7R on any of them.
People get diamond promotions? I ve gotten 113 since January 2nd when I came back to playing. I used 50 on Kestrel because I was thinking I'd be building her fr DDs and raids.
Good video but this game is clearly catered to people who spend good money on it. Mostly RU-vidrs who get money from RU-vid so they can spend the money they make on this game.
I spend in small amounts, much closer to a F2P than a huge spender. I just upgraded 3 characters onto diamonds, kang being one of them. I didn't pay for a single diamond, they're definitely easier to get than before!
I will agree it is a bit easier to get diamonds on dark promotion characters. However unless you are spending money diamonds for other characters are still very limited. Other than higher levels of cc where most players aren't How do you get them?
