@thinkmedia when i connect using the using the HDMI capture method, it shows the menu choices that appear on my camera's (Cannon G7x mark II) touch screen and shows them on my computer screen. So when i use it with Zoom, the menu options get recorded. how can i stop the menu options from showing up?
I have a quick question. I’m trying to start a video podcast using my camera. All I need for video is to plug a hdmi through a capture card from my camera to the computer. And for audio I plan on using a usb microphone. Will I have to sync the audio and video in post or will it work?
Just ordered the Anchor C200 from the link! So excited to get started with that because my video quality on my webcam is garbage and my cell phone is not an option for recording.
Hi folks. Thanks for the tips. One question: I use an Android smartphone and Epoccam is NOT available in the Play Store. Is there a solid alternative to it for us non-apple users?
Came here looking for a mini Portable webcam. Found just that. Thanks Anker Powerconf C202 Webcam looks great. Well priced too .. but the price has def increased since the video
I have nikon dslr cameras with continuous power, but it shuts off in the middle of recording the max time I get is 20 to 30 mins. It seems like a web cam will keep that continuous recording especially if you are live. I never went live because of the shutting off issue. So what external web cam would you recommend. Not a phone but an actual webcam. Also, web cams show the image mirrored so how to fix that as well?
I love the idea of using my mobile phone camera in zoom, but unfortunately Zoom doesn't run at anything above 720p, unless you want to spend almost USD$200/m to upgrade to a Business plan for 10 users! This is a ridiculous amount of money for a solo content maker to spend just to get 1080p video quality in zoom. How would using my phone as a webcam change this? Especially when I already have a fantastic webcam (Logitech Brio) which can record at up to 4K? Thanks for your advice.
I did a video review for the canon m200 that I’m posting soon and I took Omar’s advice on how to light someone with glasses and it worked so well!! Thank y’all💓
I tried this but the camera nikon 3500 has no mirrorless effects. I could not do the settings for mirrorless as i heard this cam is mirrored onlh. Can you advice please if i can make it mirrorless. I thinj the cam i have is nikon 3500d
but what about eyelines, when you are listening to your guest but you are looking at your camera. Any thoughts about that? Does it look crazy? Or as long as you are looking into the lens you are good?
They don't explain that you get a better quality when Epoc Cam is wired vs wireless mode. Also I personally wouldn't recommend, I used it for a month and could see delay wirelessly, also VERY annoying to troubleshoot when wireless doesnt work randomly.
I will test it myself but, I thought M1 Macbook Pro 1080p built-in camera was supposed to be really good. I haven't test it toroughly yet, but it seems very decent. Thoughts?
I can't find epoccam app on google play store!!! Even in elgato's website there is link only for the applestore, not the google one. What is happening?
Hey guys Pleasseeee! Make detailed review on Elgato Deck. My main questions if that device work for Premier Pro, Audition and other Adobe suit? For example can I edit faster with that device in Premier pro? If so, I will buy it
using a camera you already own is silly because unlike vlogging, webcams are meant to be used in conjunction with a screen, for communications. So you want a small formfactor camera that is as close to the monitor as you can speak face to face with a person and not a wall, or camera.
Think Media is honestly such a scam. What I mean is their videos often encourage people to continue watching and learning from their content while disregarding the difficulties of building a RU-vid channel or any business. It's also my opinion they encourage perfection over actually trying to create a channel. Perfection is a trap that doesn't lead to progress, which is why I disagree. Yes, there are some good tips here and there and I admire how Think's channel has grown. I just don't agree with some of their content.
