I love a steel mounting plate, especially after taking out the foam from a keyboard. Really makes a clickbar switch sing. Been meaning to see how those new Gateron Melodicd are, and this seems just the right board.
I think that for the budget minded that the Keychron V5 Max is a much better buy. It's 30 dollars more, but for that 30 dollars you get everything this gives you plus it has a PC plate, Gasket Mounting, an additional USB C dongle, a configurable knob, VIA support... I mean that's a lot ofr 30 dollars and for around 79 dollars you can get the barebones and pick the rest of your components yourself. I built one out with HMX Swift and KAT MIZU and it sounds really nice.
