Seems odd that the torque was 499 since I think the factory limiter is set for 500. Should be a way to turn that off or adjust it to allow for better performance.
I need to see what these M340i can do. Similar numbers out of the EA839 in the B9.5 S4/S5. 440whp and 530wtq stage 2 FBO E85 with stock turbo. Both weigh 3800 to 3900 pounds, so it should be a solid race.
This is why a cayman s is a better buy than both those cars only 3,000 pounds flat with 450 hp on stage 2. Not to mention it’s a Porsche and mid engine with way better handling
This is an F30 not a G20 bro, they only weigh about 3600 loaded. Some dipping into the 35xx range based on options. So this power is with some lighter car. The M340i is the G20 and weighs about 3900 with XDrive. They also make a substantial bump up from this in power as this is first gen B58, the G20 have the TU1 variant.
@@yarrovic It's shown as ft/lbs aka foot pound torque, not nm aka newton meters. 1 foot pound torque is equivalent to 1.356 newton meters. 499ft/lbs x 1.356 = roughly 681nm
Don't🧢 If you regret having bought an M4CS just because a B58 with FBO and some E is pushing decent numbers you bought the M4CS for all the wrong reasons.
Also M4CS is sexier, has the S55 so is at least as tunable, holds more value, has the DCT and has a way more rigid chassis with better suspension. I'll trade you my B58 vs your M4CS anytime 🤣
