I have all the respect for truck drivers honestly especially in times like these, y'all drive around all day to suplie food and other stuff to the stores and shit.
Big thanks to you truck drivers charging ahead and keeping the supply chain moving! I'm a letter carrier and I know what you mean when you say it's weird to be out with all this craziness going on everyday. Gotta do what you gotta do I guess. I enjoy the videos and I'm glad you got a nicer truck for this round.
Hey rusty I’m na European and I just started playing American truck simulator and you sir, are the reason why I only play with my freightliner cascadia and I always customize it just as your older cascadia. God bless and keep up with the good work.
Thank you for being out there and keeping America going. Hope you are feeling better, and thanks for taking precautions and trying to protect others. Truckers are awesome!!
Man I have such respect for truckers. Even here in Bangladesh when everything was closed due to lockdown, the truckers continued to deliver the groceries, medicines and all the necessary amenities. You guys, along with doctors and nurses are the front line fighters against this awful pandemic. Much love and respect from Bangladesh.
@@ratj4715 Hell yeah....if I was president.....all doctors nurses all hospital staff no taxes eat free fly free free car upgrades to Lambos free gas all of them go to every game for free Oscar's free red carpet Front of the line at the expensive restaurant VIP Poppin bottles in da club and every single doctor GETS A BIG BOOTY HOE ON THEIR BIRTHDAY!
No truckers no P.P.E my mother was a nurse for years! If you think driving a truck is easy do it! My father did for 40+ years. Yep both extremely valuable industries just look at the screen your reading did a helicopter delivery hand you that i phone?
Blood Money No one said it is easy but you probably could say that about a thousand jobs. And being a nurse is a really tuff job no holiday off working the most crazy hours. And the school time put into becoming one. Especially one of the top ones that have to go for a few years. It takes what to become a truck driver not much. But never said it was easy they get paid well for the most part also. And it also depends what your route is if local or not.
Rusty, truck drivers do not have to have contact with anyone. Load up the truck and drive. Now the employees in grocery stores have all kinds of contact with people. They deserve a tremendous amount of praise.
Truck Drivers are just as essential if not more than us grocery workers. If it weren’t for y’all truck drivers, I’d be out of a job. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for what you do!
I enjoy your videos of traveling and your truck rebuild. My father in law and brother in law were both long distance drivers. Father in law died of complications from a fall from the trailer and brother in law dies of lung CA from smoking up to 5 packs a day. Keep it up because I really enjoy.
I dont miss going calf. Lol. 33 yrs in trucking most i go 400 miles from my home town. Hope you dont have virus rusty. Becarefull and keep on trucking. Be safe and God bless !!!!
Hi Rusty Philip here from St Helens, Merseyside, England 🏴 UK 🇬🇧 Stay safe, keep strong brother, my prayers and thoughts are with you, your family and friends at this time with the virus going around. Stay focused on the job in hand and keep the rubber side down and the shinny side up, see you on the back haule. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love to watch your videos. Watched almost every one of it. Respect to all the truckers who are on the road keeping the supplies running. God bless you and all the truckers out there ✌
I'm surprised by the lack of manual 'boxes over there now. Here in the UK, they went almost fully automated (not automatic) about ten years ago, but thankfully you can still get some with proper gearboxes. I drive a 2016 MAN TGX 480 XXL with the manual comfort shift 'box. I'm going to miss her when she goes in June. Happy truckin' my friend.
Hi Rusty, new to the channel. Good road footage. You were right near the beginning about prayer... stay close to God, in the good times, and in the bad times as well. Keep safe, and may God be so close that you can reach out and touch Him. Prayers for your safety. "Treys" (for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Pastor Dean, Christian Life Church, Kissimmee FL.
Rusty, You truckers are heroes in my book. Especially during these times when supplies are being hoarded by the greedy. It's you guys that are still supplying everything necessary to help fight off this nasty business. Also, avoid Oklahoma is you can. Not a friendly state to the trucking man. 34 hour reset. That's a long time 1in a truck stop. Maybe you could explain what you would do during that time period besides eat and sleep. Like how you pass the time. I would find it interesting. Keep washing your hands, brother. Stay safe.
Amen for truck truck drivers. Love your videos Rusty. I thought you had a brand new truck not one that somebody else has already used up. I mean door scratched up, refrigerator not working. Dang. You deserve a new pristine one. Thanks for your hard work and long hours. The country supports and respects you and what you truckers do for us. Thanks for sharing.
I don’t know why I love watching your videos,I not even a truck driver or anything.. am just a Sam club stocker 😂 but I do love watching your video tbh. Is amazing seeing inside of the truck and stuff. Look so comfortable and bed.
Wow you certainly do not want the virus you need too stay safe if you had the virus you would be coughing most of the time with a dry cough and then a fever
To avoid being locked out buy a key keeper at Walmart or Home Depot and throw a spare key in it. They have magnets on them that seem small but I keep them on my frame rail and it never falls off.
There's no need to hate this channel. I come here for the funny misinformation from a new driver.. I still like you, for what it's worth.. it's just funny hearing things like how bobtail trucks often roll over from all the power. Uh.. they're torquey, not fast.. and I've yet to see a Bob tailed truck roll.. and you've seen it several times.. lol. That's good. I give all your videos thumbs up btw.. you mean well, that's what counts.
Love the video! I love the scenery! I pray that you feel better! God is your protector! I was learning to drive a truck back in 2009 but failed to get my license. I was being trained through prime Inc drove a truck for a couple months drove through the midwest!
I'm glad I got your channel suggested, this is one of my dream job, regardless of the cons, but unfortunately at the time with my family, this cannot be possible, maybe in a future, but seeing your videos give me an idea and at least I get a peak of the trucking life. Cheers and thank you for keep working and bringing goodies for everyone.
I loved how you said truckdrivers delivering all the needs for people. You should see it here in Europe, we can't go to the toilets on reststops, we can't go eat, we've been treated like sh*t at the places where we load and unload.... Feels like we're scum. It's a challenge to keep the spirit to work in those conditions. Keep save man
People are running loads to all the western and southern states but my company is telling me they don't have loads there 😂 Yeah, right. Stay safe Rusty and all the fellow truckers as well!
Lol I feel like that’s me driving. I drive a rig up and down I-40. The windmills, the huge cross in Texas, the stinky cattle farm by Adrian, Texas. It’s crazy how everything becomes so familiar after awhile.
Hi! Here in Brazil truck drivers are having the same issue you are having there in US, they have to drive wile most people have to stay at home. As a virologist and researcher, I think this is getting crazy, people are over reacting to this epidemic. The most important thing is to maintain personal hygiene. I hope you don't have get this virus or other. Keep safe!
@@yousefnoori Yea I should have been more specific. Thats the same way here in Indiana. I was just surprised to see all those people in one restaurant. I thought pretty much every state was doing carry out only. Guess there is still a few places open for dine in.
I used to love stopping at Hopi Travel Plaza. Not much there, only a Burger King, and one or two small shops. Used to love chatting with the lady who owns the Hopi gift shop. Bought some need dream catchers there to hang behind my truck's sun visor. On the other side of the highway under the bridge there is the remnants of a dinosaur exhibit that apparently closed some years back. Not driving anymore, but maybe some day I'll get back to Hopi in an RV.
Another “cracking “video with beautiful countryside pics. That cascadia is a good looking truck, good luck with it.I agree with you that produce on shelves is taken for granted it’s the same here in Ireland and as for the pay rates I’m sure it’s as poor there as it is here.Keep up the good work and stay safe 🇮🇪👍
First ride with you, Rusty... Thanks and I think I might have the miller beer virus just watching this video....hehe... Stay safe and get out of So. Cal
Hi Rusty, great video`s when next on i59 give Edna TX a air horn hoot, I have friends there visited them last year from UK, I enjoyed drive from Houston airport but noticed that unlike UK truckers you don't give a high beam flash to a truck overtaking when his trailer is clear of your cab for him to pull into your lane, that's from an ex trucker retired, in winter and pipeline welder in summer, best jobs ever. trucking then was easier more relaxed, now truckers are more `pushed` best, dave.
I have 2017 Kenworth T680. This is the best truck I ever had since driving. The truck had 370,000 on it when I bought it. The truck is governed at 120 mph and really roomy.
Fuck man, I love your videos, I like they’re a few minutes long. I don’t trucking so interesting and lovely. We gotta prey for y’all, all truckers and guys at the warehouses for all the stuff we buy
if the railroads shut down we would be in for a treat. 1 train can have 100 cars or more . One train car can carry 2 shipping containers but a truck can only carry 1
Enjoying the content and the quality of the camera work. Sharp images with beautiful scenery, well done! Just a tip when you hook up, don’t forget to do a ‘tug test’, you might do it a thousand times with no uncoupling, but one save is worth the effort.👍
Much Respect! I drove off and on, myself for couple year. Atm I work Warehouse. We are shut down due to the events. Men like you are the reason USA will survive this keep pushing no mater what. I know as a driver myself you never get any support. So I give much love to all the drivers given it hell Making it where we can make it thur this doing gods work. despite the hate that drivers get. Who knows I may be back out there real soon myself being laid off I'm serious think about it. anyways love video good luck be careful out there man. May god keep the drivers safe!
Hi ,i was a truck driver in Europe your chanel make me want to go in trucking again ,but here in Romania ,if you come from a delivery from another country you must stand alone 14 days in quarantine...(not making money and without family)
Dude, you crack me the EFF up! I know how much time you must put in to making/editing these videos because photography and video has been my full-time career for the past 20 years. I'm about to retire from that and move into the trucking field very soon. Just need a change in life, now that I'm 55. Your videos are the best I've come across on RU-vid for enlightening those of us who are considering the career change. Thanks for your hard work, informative content, and funny-ass entertainment.
So true... biggest threat is if virus spreads in trucking sector, that's it folks... we're done... I wish them all well in this moment in its history...
Food for thought: California represents about 15% of the nation’s economy. Without Cali, you would have less work, at a lower pay. That said, please be safe, and healthy. I thank you for helping us all in our time of need. People like you are in fact essential. About time the rest of the population understands that.
