Today i change cpu in my lenovo g560 (from 2010 ) from i3-350m to i7-620m using this video. Thank you. Few months ago i change my hdd to ssd. And few years ago i increase ram to 8 GB. I think i will continue to use this laptop few more years. Works great !!! Perhabs in future if using windows 7 will not be possible then i will change system to chrome os or some linux

niiiice man.....how are the thermals after the upgrade?....does the i7 run hotter than p6100?...and did you purchase it from AliExpress or somewhere?

i7-620M i7-640M These will not get warm, other i7 models have tdp over 35w. from the aliexpress website, the processor must be carefully bought, only from reliable suppliers.
