The market is slightly different now than when they debuted the 40 series. That was on the tail of the shortage. Plenty of cards out there so they can make money by selling cards, rather than acting as scalpers. Nvidia has always sent free cards to game developers by the bucketload, even during the shortage, but the way that has been ramped up the last year and what they have promised so far for developers, points to a situation where there's a ton of cards coming. Don't expect a huge mark-up.

I know that the joke on the internet is often how aggressive German sounds, but honestly: that's because whenever German is a topic, people just scream every word as if that was how the language is actually spoken. That's kind of lost on me, to be perfectly honest

Well, "yarmulke" is a Yiddish word, and Yiddish is mostly informal German, so that's probably why.

When Colin first appeared on camera I thought him not talking was a bit or that he hadn't passed some sort of "you must be employed for this long before you can show up on and speak on camera" threshold, but now I'm starting to think he actually might be mute. He responded to Plouffe's question so he's not deaf and understands English well enough to work with other native speakers.
