Put the axle on jack stands and you can spin the driveshaft by hand. Then use gears or parking brake to lock it in place when needed.

That is definitely from your oil cooler. I just had mine go out. It’s a fairly easy replacement. You can use normal tools, but you will need a e8 torx to get the cooler off, and a vacuum pump to get the oil and coolant out of the valley once the cooler is removed

Yep. Long story short I had to do a fix on the side of the road. You'll see it in a video 2 weeks fr now lol

@@resolutejku Long story short a shop fixed it and then couple days later as I was headed to expo it started to leak again. Somehow when they put it back the seal was never put in properly. So it was fixed on the side of the road so I never got to film it. I was just trying to get to my destination at that point lol

Get a Dorman Engine Oil Cooler / filter housing it is aluminum and not plastic, just did mine 3 weeks ago. Use OEM O rings Dorman O rings suck.

Great gmrs antennas! do you know when they plan to sell them? and FYI, I did my oil cooler too but it took me 2 days. if you plan to replace them and since you take the whole top of the engine off, I gave my jeep a full tune up with new spark plugs, coils, belts, head gaskets and oil cooler. Good to go for another 100,000 miles! i did this at 90,000 and now i'm at 188,000. take care of the jeep it will last forever. But I do want to change my drive shafts. good luck and great video!

So not sure if you follow me on IG because I posted about it but I got oil cooler replaced and on the way to the SE Vehicle expo I was smoking fr below because of oil cooler leak AGAIN. When the shop installed one (and they're very reputable) the new oil cooler didn't sit properly and one of the o-rings got damaged. We were about 1.5 hrs away from them already and they sent one of their mechanics to me with another one. Me and him basically installed a new oil cooler at the gas station. No problems now. Guess what I'm trying to say is had I not had those issues I coulda redid all my spark plugs and such too lol
