Riding Upper Spinal Tap to celebrate its first birthday! The trail has settled and worn in great this year (although it was running a bit slow in spots today because we've got a lot of rain recently). In true MinerBiker style I did not shuttle but pedaled all the way from Richfield to the top! The next video will be the continuation of this ride down Middle and Lower Spinal Tap.

The drone sequence at the beginning is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

I found the pedaly parts a nice change, 19 miles is a lot downhill, gota change things up once in a while

Amen to that! I love and appreciate the variety

Need an uncut video of the entire trail, top to bottom. I'd love to come ride it. I had knee surgery in Dec. and can only ride an eMTB for the time being. With the increased weight (mine and the bike's), and an inability to stand most of the time, I would love to see all the features before hand.

Nothing big on Upper or Middle Spinal Tap. The couple drops there are have easy by-passes. Lower is another story. If you're limited on tech and features, better to cut off onto One In A Pinion and Faulty instead of continuing into Lower

@@minerbiker Sweet. You're in Aurora right? I'd say I should come down and have you show me the local trails but based on your strava I don't think I could keep up ebike notwithstanding 😂

I'd also love to see the cattle permits get pulled... from the entire state. I go out looking for wildlife and all I find are cows. I hate it. There are so many areas that cannot support wildlife because of cattle. There are entire species of freshwater fish that have gone extinct because of cattle, as well. One cow poops in a stream and the stream becomes toxic to freshwater fish for miles and miles. I'm fortunate that my local trail areas are safe from cattle.

Compretely agree! I've seen so many potentially wonderful riparian areas and wetlands that get absolutly destroyed every year by cattle stomping around in them. It is getting better slowly. The FS is getting better at restricting numbers and how long they can stay in certain areas at a time. Slow but at least some progress in the right direction. National Forest lands should not be seen as first and foremost the national grazing pasture
