I've been forgetting to upscale over the intended target resolution THEN downscale to target to get that "cut with a razor blade" sharpness until you mentioned it. Thanks!

Thanks for the thorough explanation on how to use the upscaling software. Just outta curiosity, I have a desktop with specs i5 2320 and GTX 1060 with 6GB of Vram. Do you think that system would be adequate enough for running the Topaz video AI enhance software?

Has anyone tried upscaling gameplay footage in this? I record all my gameplay in 4K because I can run it but for one game I can't only run it at 1440p and want to keep my video quality consistent.

other con is that it takes a very long time to upscale, you need a high powered pc to not wait hours.

I was using version 1.7.1, which came out around November 2020. Newer (or older) versions may have slightly different names, but they will essentially do the same thing. Hover your mouse over each model for a description on what each one does. I used this model purely due to the fact it reduces noise in the footage as well.

@@qwru4863 Once its rendered the first few frames, you can click on stop. It will then loop the preview over and over. Then press pause, and zoom in to compare :)
