NYUP.com Outdoors reporter David Figura finds out facts you probably didn't know about Crows from Kevin Mcgowan of the Cornell University Lab of Ornithology.
We didn’t know about squirrels either UNTIL a cardinal built a nest out of our bedroom window and one day we opened the curtain to see a squirrel munching on the babies. Knocked the happy mood right out of us LOL!
I',m surprised that a lot of crow experts discussed the crows intelligence and what not, but fails to discuss if crows are pests much like rats, and should be treated as such. The high competition of urban birds makes the crows top of the food chain and can lead to other birds extinction. I wish they talk about this more.

I recently saw a Coopers Hawk attack the crows in my back yard three times in one hour, while they were feeding. I'm not sure that I'd put the crows at the top of the food chain. That coopers hawk is fast and loves eating other birds - even large crows/ravens.
