What is used to fix the UPVC trim please? We have 1 year old UPVC double glazed windows from another company that are making popping/cracking noises- nothing over winter but it started up in Summer mainly at night when there are big temp variances. They have double trim that have been fixed by the installer using silicon and liquid nails around the window frame, someone said this might be causing the popping noises (the noise sounds like someone is throwing a stone at the window).
